With an abundance of good sushi in Port, we rarely have a wait for a table at Aiko. For starters, try the pizza Aiko Style, AKA sushi pizza. It's thin dough, crunchy and fresh tuna with wasabi mayo. It's enough to keep us busy as the Sapphoro beer is being served. If you're a sake fan, they have Platinum Junmal Dalginjo on the menu. The shrimp Shumai appetizer offer some of the best shrimp dumplings around. They are tender and melt in your mouth. If you like spicy soup, try the Tom Yum soup. Flavorful and quite a kick. As an entree, we usually get the Sushi for 2 with an added Wasabi Tuna roll and Dragon Eel Roll, which are included for the price. Service is very quick and friendly.

Food, really does not get better. Just fantastic. Super fresh, expertly prepared and presented. Creative, but not nuts. We were left hanging for the first almost ten minutes we were seated after we order drinks. Odd because the place was still half speed because it was early Saturday night. Then, entrees kept arriving at our table that we did not order, and my sake arrived, but not my wife's drink. It all sort of settled down after 8 once the place was buzzing. Food was a ten. Service, a five.

We had a whole group of family and friends celebrating my daughter's birthday. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was excellent and the staff made my daughter feel like a queen. The food was a little expensive, but we knew that before we went. All in all, I feel that the prices were justified - You can't put a price on the smile they put on all our faces. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The fire island roll is a must!!!

My husband and I took his 17 year old daughter to dinner on a Saturday Night. We were immediately impressed by the decor! My stepdaughter had never seen a Japanese restaurant with the private tables like they have at Bonsai. If we weren't so hungry we would have waited for one of those table to open up. We sat a a regular table, which was great. We all loved the big fish tank and the ambiance of the place. The waitress came quickly to our table and offered a hot towel so we could clean our hands. She then took our drink order. As we looked over the menu, my stepdaughter and I both zeroed in on the Bento Box menu. It sounded delicious, and contained everything we like. My husband ordered sushi. We enjoyed our drinks and our meal arrived and did not disappoint. The presentation was lovely. The food was perfectly prepared and beautifully arranged. My husband enjoyed his sushi and we all agreed we will be coming back to Bonasi for the sushi and Bento Box, but next time we want to experience at a private table.

Such an interesting menu that combines the food of two different cultures. When ordering you can go with more traditional sushi items or chose those with a Peruvian touch. We really enjoyed our small plate appetizers and our roll choices of the incredible roll and the crazy Maguro roll. Our Banana Pecan dessert was fantastic. Prices are a little high but worth it.
