Find out what Japanese restaurants to try in Pompeii. Pompeii is a Roman town frozen in time, thanks to a devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Explore houses from modest to majestic; see Roman shops, baths and brothels; or apply your high-school Latin to the graffiti that's still visible on some of the walls. End your visit at the Villa of the Mysteries, and try to interpret its amazing, bizarre frescoes—scholars have debated their meaning for years.

As for me this is a strange place from the very beginning. All YOU CAN EAT formula is available only on particular days at particular hours and can be booked through FACEBOOK only. Space wise the table we were put at (right by the kitchen) was really small = hard to come in and out even if you are not tall. Sashimi (raw fish) can be ordered twice by each person so as tartars. And that is really ANNOYING! Most of the items on the menu include fried stuff which personally I donât fancy at all. I am an experienced sushi eater and this place is NOT for me. Sorry canât rate this restaurant even as âvery goodâ. Was just OK! The fact that you MUST eat your dinner during some window hours is rather inconvenient. Sounds like âpound ur food down and get the heck out of hereâ! Do NOT recommend.

Since its opening, this restaurant has become a favorite, when we had enough of pizza and frittata. The service is cordial, prices at medium level and home delivery is efficient and timely. Strongly advised.

Don't get stuck in Pozzuoli Solfatara for different eats to the usual pizza/seafood/pasta offerings. Opposite the amphitheatre, on via Oberdan is Umami, a Japanese fusion restaurant. This beautiful restaurant serves a selection of delicious Japanese food, from snacks with aperitives to a full array of oriental goodies. Two of us pushed the boat out from entrees to main courses and a delicious bottle of chilled Pinot Grigio Ramato. A comprehensive wine list - we paid just over â¬100.

Good food with a good choice also for vegetarians. Dont miss the seed salad with ginger. Staff is very kind and helpful for any suggestion. A bit expensive but...maybe because we tried a lot of different dishes! Absolutely suggestedThank you very much, great review, we are happy that everything was to your liking. We always try to offer as many traditional Japanese dishes and can satisfy all tastes, so even those vegetarians. Algae ginger for example are new proposal to give more choice. We hope to see you soon again with us, soon to Vittorio and all the staff of Giappo Pozzuoli
