Excellent food, great service and great price. We've learned from our travels to various countries that the best places for great food are those the locals frequent. And Riki Sushi is that type of place. Whenever we been there, there are always Japanese eating or picking up orders. The chef is from India but lived in Japan and has a degree from a Tokyo culinary school. Thus the food is well prepared with a knowledge of how to fix food without sacrificing authentic Japanese style. Highly recommend the shrimp tempura and spicy sushi rolls.

This little sushi shop inside a strip mall will not disappoint. I have been going for years, once and a while we try something else that pops up, but we always go back to The Happy Sushi. And they have a liquor license, so you can enjoy a Japanese beer or Sake with your sushi.Try one of their specialty rolls....

Best place in Michigan, and may be Midwest, if you like Japanese style food. Novi has huge Japanese population, and this is the place they go to for good authentic food. Absolutely everything is delicious - noodles, sushi, millions of small dishes/appetizers.

I grew up in California and am very familiar with Japanese restaurants (Iâm Japanese American). This place reminds me of many neighborhood places in LA or the bay area. Its solid, well prepared food with the choices you would expect. Not just Americanized sushi, but a good range of entrees as well. We unfortunately didnt see the nice wine choices till we departed. Worth a visit.

Upscale Japanese Steakhouse that also offers a full service bar, sushi lounge and casual dining. Chefs entertain in this social atmosphere on state of the art Teppanyaki tables. Serving the finest steaks and freshest sushi, Genji offers incredible cuisine
Stopped here with my wife after some shopping at the mall on a Saturday evening. It was busy, but not crowded. We were seated right away without a reservation. The waitress was very friendly, but was quite slow with service. I don't feel this is her fault, as it seemed that she was covering many tables. Not sure if they were short staffed or not, but Management should look into this. That being said, the food was some of the best sushi that I have ever had! We ordered 2 rolls (The Wolverine and Crazy Hot) as we like spicy food. These were EXACTLY what we wanted! The rolls also came with small salads and soups. With the exception of slow service the experience was very good. I would recommend this place for sushi.

Ordered Sushi & Sashimi combo. We got very good Japanese soup with the order. The Sushi plate was very nicely decorated and tasted very good. Very nice building but seats are very close to neighbor tables. Service was good. As the prices are little to the higher side, I would give 4*.Nevertheless very good and we might go again.

The largest Japanese grocery store in Michigan, proud to bring Japanese cuisine and culture to the Novi area.
This is a really good , authentic Japanese market offering dry goods, fresh fish, vegetables, all kinds of frozen foods and really good take out sushi. One World Market also has a really good variety of fresh and dry Asian noodles, seaweed teas, sauces and pre-made products that are fairly priced and always available. The staff are always helpful and they're eager to make you happy. Highly recommend this place.

This is a tiny, but super-authentic little place that probably only seats about 30-40 people. It's open for limited hours, and you'll almost always have to wait, but it's worth it! Super fresh sushi, and absolutely delicious Udon. If you don't want to wait, try going for a late weeknight dinner. Otherwise, arrive before they open for your best shot at a table. The place is always filled with Japanese nationals, who know this is the real deal. Affordably priced for the quality you get. I hate to give a good recommendation, as it will only get more crowded! :)
