I have been to this restaurant two times now and was extremely impressed with the quality of the sushi on both occasions! They take reservations and have the table set up and waiting for you by the time you get there. What impressed me most was their extensive list of specialty rolls; in addition they had several specials listed on the boards in the restaurant (although many are similar to rolls already on their menu). Some rolls came with as many as 16 pieces, such as the tornado roll which is so filling and has a delicious smoky taste (super original)! I have also had some of their deep fried rolls: volcano roll and 2006 roll (2006 is spicy).I have not had one roll that I have been unsatisfied with, although the deep fried rolls are larger pieces and fall apart easily! They provide steamed hand towels before the meal and serve only beer, wine, and saki for alcoholic beverage. On a busy Friday night, the orders were a little backed up, so we were provided with edamame on the house which was a pleasant surprise. As for price - extremely fair, equal to the cost of specialty rolls at other sushi restaurants but better quality and several had bigger portions! Make sure to print out a coupon available on their website before dining!

We were a little reluctant to go to a sushi restaurant while in the middle of Connecticut. Read the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to trust in the positive feedback. Awesome apps, sushi, Oysters! Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

My siblings had been to this place before and recommended it, so we went for a family dinner while I was in town. The interior is large, airy and inviting (though sound-reflective, amplifying a large, boisterous party that was in progress when we got there). Would that the staff had been similarly welcoming. The taciturn host and similarly tight-lipped server seemed disappointed that we weren't actually Chinese, though we might look that way to a casual observer. Fortunately the food easily redeemed the evening--a lovely-looking and generously portioned avocado salad was equally pleasing to the palate, while the main courses we ordered--the evening special, lamb with scallions; teriyaki chicken and orange beef--were perfectly cooked and seasoned. At least as we left the chef had a gracious smile for us, in contrast to those who started the evening. Still, the food is great and I'd consider coming back.

A quiet, pleasant, interesting place and menu, an environment that encourages exploration of different tastes, served with the greatest of attention. Glad we found this peaceful luncheon/dinner venue. I had a scallion pancake that was fabulous. The noodle choices are sublime. You won't be disappointed.
I recently went to another Chinese Buffet here in Bristol, about the same hour of day as a friend and I visited Han Tang and I could not help but compare the two. Whereas at Han Tang, everything was fresh and pristine, even hours after the noon rush, at the Buffet I visited yesterday, things were not Grade A. Soggy, dried out and tired food in many of the buffet trays. You really had to scrutinize what you selected. This underscore to me just how nice Han Tang is. A real go to if you are into Chinese Buffet style dining.
