The value of the food for the price charged here explains why this place was jammed at 7:30 PM last night, a cold Tuesday. Neither I nor my wife are particularly crazy about Japanese food, but the two couples we went with were adamant about taking us here, and said that even if we don't like sushi and Japanese food in general, we would like this tiny storefront eatery in a mini-mall on High Mountain Road. The table service is by Nicky, a young woman who knows how to provide cheerful, pleasant, service. The choices available of the myriad Japanese dishes, especially those way beyond everyday sushi, is amazing. Everyone can find something to like here...but I am sorry to say that neither of us were left liking this type of food any better than when we arrived. If you like Japanese food and have a big appetite, you will LOVE this place. Eat in or order for take-out. The price can't be beat: a couple can eat a never ending array of their favorite Japanese dishes of all sorts for $50, including seafood items, and also including tax and tip. Dessert is fresh fruit. If you eat till bursting, as many patrons seem ed to be doing last evening, you really won't want anything more for dessert. Free parking in front. Ambiance is basic. Most people kept their coats on while dining, since, in cold weather, there is a frigid blast whenever the front door opens.

This is the place if you want japanese food. They do a Raw beef appetizer that i have dreams about. Raw beef, raw quail egg, and wasabi....its perfection. The rolls like the Dark angel are big and filling. The staff is great and you can bring your own booze! Enjoy!

We came for lunch and were seated promptly. There is a nice variety from which to choose from for lunch. The bento boxes offer a nice combination that include soup, shumai, california roll and rice with the main entree. At $10.00 it is a good value. There also are great choices to choose from if you like rolls. Any two are 9.50 and three rolls are $12.50. If you like to have soup and salad, the super lunch combo is $17.00. Hibachi, sushi and sashimi lunches are also available at different prices. Quick service and all food served are fresh.
