We went to this restaurant because of a special campaign advert that was mailed to our home.It is not cheap eats, it will realistically cost about 4000 yen per person not including alcohol. What you will get is great service with a quality meal. We ordered the shabu shabu set meal. Comes with Kobe beef and lots of vegetables for your hot pot. It also comes with an appetizer, a rice bowl, udon noodles with mochi for your end of meal soup and a dessert ice cream. I can not rave enough about the closing dish. They take the leftover broth from the hot pot and add the noodles and mochi. It has incredible flavor. The wait staff all wear traditional kimonos. They will show you how to cook your meal at the beginning. There was a banquet area, private rooms and general seating. There is a dedicated elevator and designated parking underneath the building. You can describe this place as higher end hot pot restaurant. Considering the price point with the service, we plan to come back here to try out their sukiyaki menu.

Been to the sister store in Koshien but they are closed on Tuesdays. This place is open everyday. The food is fresh, nicely seasoned, fried right in front of you. Get to eat it with three different types of salts or dashi. Add a salad, soup and dessert and you get a great meal. There are lots of different tempura spots but this place is consistent. Shrimp is always fresh, the eel is done right, the vegetables are all seasonal and very fresh. There is always a different Japanese local vegetables that I rarely get to try. It makes eating here a pleasure. There are three parking spots right in front of the restaurant.

Located on the restaurant floor of Nishinomiya Gardens, a black pig shabu shabu restaurant. Name of the restaurant is "One-Two-Three" in Japanese. This is a national chain store but the only one in the Kansai region. They specialize in black pig which is a rich flavored pork. We ordered the set menu which included a slow steamed pig's knuckle, pressure cooked pork hocks and a lot of shabu shabu pork thinly sliced with good helping of fresh vegetables. You finish the meal with a choice of rice dish, we chose the rice ochazuke. It was really rich taste which goes contrary with the shabu shabu concept. While tasty, if you are calorie counting, this place is not for you. This place is not cheap mall food. We ordered the 3000 yen set menu. There are other higher level sets to choose from. It's great on a cold day. Will warm you up. It's a different meal option than regular far.

Located on the food floor of Nishinomiya Gardens. There is ALWAYS a lineup for this place so passing by this place saw that the line up was only a few people in length, I jumped at the chance. They have different grades of pork available. I tried the lowest grade and it was still tasty. Fried properly, with all the fixing. Is it worth the huge lineups? I doubt it. It was tasty but only consider coming back if there was little to no lineup.

You just cant go wrong with a steaming bowl of udon on a winter day. The stock was very flavorful, the noodles chewy and the tempura crunchy. LOVED IT

I understand that there are several locations of this restaurant in Tokyo. We visited the one that is on Gion, close to the Kabuki theater. They specialize on dishes with eel. We had a big box with eel on rice for about 3200 yen, and it was very good. Staff was very nice as well.
