Nice restaurant, but food had no taste. I've eaten at many asian restaurants and these dishes did not taste like the dishes they were supposed to be. They had no taste at all. Even the iced tea had no flavor. It was very disappointing.

Went here for an early Mother's Day family dinner and was not impressed. Restaurant was practically empty but they took a little while to seat us and to wait on us. When we did get food it was average. Soup was not well seasoned and salad dressing was very runny. All the meat was served first and vegetables last. When we finally received the vegetables they were bland and undercooked. Staff was very friendly but unfortunately will not return to this location.

There's a lot of Hibachi-type restaurants around, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of this little place. Located in a shopping strip, when we walked in the decor was pretty predictable: dining room out front, order desk in the back of the room - with the kitchen in the rear. We did like the rich green color on the walls - and the little side window to watch the food being grilled was nice. The prices were low-to medium. My wife and daughter ordered Hibachi chicken and I got Hibachi Scallops. All came with a nice chilled salad and a hot bowl of soup. We got those served immediately - and by the time we were finishing them up, out came 3 steaming hot plates of delicious Japanese food! All of our plates had a generous serving of grilled rice, chopped zucchini and onions, and the protein. Both the chicken and the scallops had nice grill marks on them. The drinks were self-serve. Nicely done all the way around. I would highly recommend.
You expect the food to be good for the price in that type of restaurant but you get the pricing but not the quality of food. It is not even up to Kanki level. I was really hoping for it to be good but just very plain with not even as good of a show. There was not many people there and there is a reason. Don't waste your money.
