Sushi Zen has long been my favorite to go to when I have a craving for Japanese food. I have already written reviews of it as an outstanding Japanese Restaurant in Arlington and so far that rating from me stands. However I was greatly surprised by my luncheon today. My son and I both ordered Bento Boxes. This time no salad was served. The miso soup that comes with the meal was good. When our Bento boxes arrived I found the smallest sushi I had ever seen here or in Japan. I was greatly disappointed. I usually order some sushi from the sushi menu to augment my bento box meal and to take home what I do not eat at the restaurant. This time I didn't.I will be going to another very highly rated Japanese restaurant in this area early next week and will be able to compare the sushi for quality and size. I am hoping that the sushi today is not a management decision to cut down, but a one time thing with the sushi chef making the sushi much too small today only. I will certainly go to Sushi Zen again and will find out.

Ordered the classic tonkatsu for dinner one night. Tasted like the tonkatsu I ate in Japan, so I would recommend coming here for a taste of Japan.

Food delivered and while eating Egg Foo Young, had plastic object in my food. It was like glass, clear and sharp. I called and asked to speak to manager and she struggled to understand what I was communicating. She said hold on and put someone else on the call, I explained again what happened he said, let me check with the owner. It was suggested to bring food in and they would refund money and provide new food. It was stated we don't use anything like that so it's no way this could of happened. Very disappointed with the way situation was handled, needless to mention customer service. I will never order food from this place or recommend. Very disappointing!!!!

Making good use of the space previously finished but that did not succeed, taste of urban space is an upscale food court that Galleria deserves but with open "work spaces" and food options for everyone. My favorite so far is Andy's Pizza. I've only been for lunch but wouldn't mind trying it for happy hour since they have specials and games. When malls are struggling to stay relevant this coffee shop, Japanese, ice cream, pizza, bar are is modern and evolving with the times.

Very nice dining experience "in" or "takeout/delivery". Ample portions and food quality/presentation is excellent. Recommend the Trio Amigos roll, Bento Box (nice!), & Avocado Salad. Our shrimp tempura was delicious -- if a little"light" on shrimp - but at $7 --not a bad price! Otherwise, very enjoyable.

Very nice cafe, good service, lots of parking, nice light shu mai, excellent roll up of seafood called Mr. Fuji. And yeah, that is how it is spelled. ;-)The menu is almost too long to take in. There is a nice assortment of sushi, but they also have nicely priced soups and even lasagna rolls. Not sure what to make of that.We started with green tea and shu mai, 6 pieces, very light taste of shrimp, nice starter. Garden salad was a bit formulaic but fresh. We got terikyaki chicken and Mr. Fuji, a dish that was almost a casserole of sorts made of salmon, rice and various other fish wrapped in tinfoil. Very tasty!I think I may come back for their soba noodle soup with shrimp. Looked great as it went by...

We went there for lunch. The luncheon specials were quite reasonable in price and size. The service was excellent. The food was quite tasty. Judging by the number of Japanese eating there, it was a vote of confidence on their part. It was quite busy at lunch time. I'm looking forward to the next time I can visit.
