Reviews on Japanese food in Mammoth Lakes, California, United States. High in the Eastern Sierra of California is the growing ski resort town of Mammoth Lakes, surrounded by alpine beauty and majesty. Powdered peaks of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and surrounding wilderness draw skiers, snowboarders, snowmobilers and ice skaters every winter. Summers are quieter and less crowded, but vacationers in search of the path less traveled will find secluded biking and hiking trails, rushing rivers, icy mountain lakes, green golf courses and breathtaking scenery.

We arrived and were seated right away at our reservation time. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. The place was busy and it took 25 minutes for her to finally come over and take our drink order - this was because I was standing up waving. They only had two servers working and like I said, the place was packed. My wife loved her food and my Raman was okay. Their was just one small piece of pork in mine and lucky for me, I had ordered extra chicken. I live half the year in Mammoth and love the restaurants here, but I do not suspect I will be going back - too many other great places to go.

Horrible! Will never go back. 2 of our orders were wrong. One order didn't even arrive and another was so full of Japanese hot spice that it was inedible. The worst noodle house I have ever been to, only bean sprouts for vegetables in the soup. The prices are too expensive for what you get. Avoid

The title says it all. After a week visiting Yosemite and surrounding Sierra mountains, I was craving something more adventurous than the typical fare in the natl parks. Located close by the Westin hotel, we walked over and were warmly greeted. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and expensive as well. I know this is a resort town but $20+ for a single California roll??
