Louvain-la-Neuve (French pronunciation: [lu.vɛ̃.la.nœv], French for New Leuven) is a planned city in the municipality of Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, situated 30 km southeast of Brussels, in the French-speaking part of the country. The city was built to house the Université Catholique de Louvain; following the linguistic quarrels that took place in Belgium during the 1960s, and Flemish claims of discrimination at the Catholic University of Leuven, the institution was split into the Dutch language Katholieke Universiteit Leuven which remained in Leuven, and the Université Catholique de Louvain.

I ate here twice and it's the best sushi in town for quality and price. The restaurant have a problem: the service. There are only one waitress who attend the clients, clean the tables, serve the food and prepare the boxes for the take away. All this only one person. The food is good, but they have some makis and california roll that the rice is like too boiled.

We've planned to share one portion of brochette with my friend but the waitress misunderstood us and brought us two portions. She served firstly rice and cabbage that are offered with brochettes and we suspected nothing when she brought us two portions of rice and cabbage and started to eat. When the waitress served brochettes, it was too late to refuse. Brochettes were rather good.The place is very small inside and painted pink. The toilet is tiny and very dark.Prices are rather high, especially for drinks.In general I didn't like the place and unlikely to return there.
