Recommended by a co-worker. This is quite a large place with numerous hibachi areas and a long sushi bar as well as a regular bar. Edamame was awful, watery, lukewarm and minimal salt. There is a large menu with lots of rolls, nigiri and sashimi. The chef was kind enough to make a special roll when I couldn't decide. It was a HUGE roll with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, eel, masago, avocado, cucumbers. Fresh fish and just the right amount of rice. That one roll was all I needed to be filled so no comments on the other rolls. Although, since I was at the sushi bar, the rolls all looked great. Green tea mochi ice cream with whip cream and chocolate drizzle was good and creamy. Easy parking off Hospitality. Prices were perhaps a bit below average for the quantity served. Other than the edamame, everything was very good.
The food had very little flavor aside from the sauce that I had to add afterward. It was very plain and not well-cooked. Maybe some of the other dishes are better?

The wait staff greeted us with a smile and a welcome. There was an interesting selection of Sake and Japanese beer. We ordered garlic edamame, pot stickers and some beef dish as appetizers. I have never had beef this tender.Main courses were very good as well. And served with a smile. While waiting for our food we saw the staff help celebrate a customer's birthday. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Fairfield, Marriott residence inn or the Hampton it is within walking distance.

The restaurant doesn't take reservations and it's just in a strip mall. Even though you have to wait at dinner time, the wait was a little bit shorter than we were told. There are really creative kinds of sushi on their menu. and we tried quite a few of them. All of them were delicious. Although the place could have been just a little bit cleaner, the service was attentive. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would be happy to go back if ever in that area

Kimo is one of my favorite places to eat. It's small and nicely decorated. It's very quiet and rather elegant. I often go here for lunch with friends. We generally order lunch specials preceded by a few appetizers. I like the way the specials are organized, choice of one item from A, B, or C with miso soup, rice and salad. The salad is excellent! The combo I order is $13.00, the most expensive. I like to get both rolls and sashimi. One of my friends swears by the teriyaki salmon, another by the calamari. They serve beer, sake and limited wine. We always come away perfectly full and very pleased with our food choices.

Store front restaurant in Stater Bros strip mall. Temp was a little warm on arrival, alternative Indie music playing in the background. Reasonably priced and good selection of sushi and other Japanese food for people who don't like sushi. Ordered lunch special D, Katsu Chicken and Chicken Ramen Soup. Service was prompt and professional, food was good. Will return.
