Reviews on Japanese food in Lodz, Lodz Province, Poland. The third-largest city in Poland, Lodz's historical and global significance is largely due to the ghetto that was built there during World War II. Strolling the picturesque central streets will give you an appreciation for the strength of this city and its citizens. Explore the Muzeum Sztuki modern art museum, which houses one of the most important collections of modern art in Poland, or spend the day thrill-seeking at Lunapark amusement park.

Good restaurant in a quitte area. Beautiful as well perfect sushi. Choice from the chef with the main reason that the card only available is in the Polisch language. No problem to let make the choice to the chef ;-)

I must admit they offer vet good sushi . Lots of classics but also some unusual combinations for those who like to experiment and mix tastes.Service can be very good and professional or really bed one that will mislead an order. Same with waiting time - if you are lucky you get your sushi quickly. I must admit that manager is doing a great job trying to repair all mistakes and make clients feel good.On summer they have lovely outdoor tables.

Open not so long ago this place has conquered a special place on our favourite list of restaurants where we love to go. In a cozy and minimalist interior ( yes this can go together !) one is always welcomed in a most friendly way. On the menu the classics but also some with a twist - try the Golden California tempura roll ! Size of the sushis seems to me somehow bigger than the usual, and the components are extremely fresh with perfect balance between fish and vegetables. Sashimi are my favourite in Lodz. They are fresh, nice, thick slices . Not the paperthin things nicely presented with lot of salad in some other places.... Here you get real value for money, a smile and you leave with the feeling of wanting to come back.

We went there for omakase experience on Friday late evening ... And then we came back on Saturday afternoon for omakase as well... Which I guess proves best how much we enjoyed it. The ingredients were all amazing-imported straight from Japan (salmon, tuna, eel, prawns, herring, saint jaques etc). What we appreciated a lot was that many details were totally unique, with the usage of original secret recipes (e.g. sesame sauce, rice). Even ginger was much better than in all sushi places we visited so far, prepared in a special way. The owner of the place and the author of all the amazing plates we got, Kacper, is a charming, charismatic person, who told us many interesting stories and facts, eg about kino me leaves we never ate before and which were spicy and delicious. To sum up, if you are a sushi lover who happens to be in Åódź, there is no way you can miss Ato and omakase experience there. These were 2.5 hours you will never forget!

We went there to have a pleasant dinner and we got more than we expected. We ordered a set number 4, which chef slithly modified to fit our taste. Food was beautifully composed and tasted delightful. Chef served dishes in numerous variants with slightly different ingredients. The amount of food was more than enough for 2 people. So far it was the best experience I had with Japanese cousine. As a drink I recommend jasmine tea. We only regret we were so full we couldn't try desserts.
