Authentic, comfortable, welcoming, and affordable. This restuarant was one of our favorite experiences in Okinawa. I just wish we had discovered it sooner! We were fortunate to eat there three times in three very different situations, and each was great. The first was as a family of non-Japanese-speaking sushi-lovers. We ordered random items from the menu and had a fantastically fresh, beautiful meal. The next was a going-away dinner with two friends, both Japanese. We were honored to have them order for us, and the selections were perfect. We even had some things we had never eaten before, and every dish was delightful. The final time we visited was a large going-away party and both the food and the service were impeccable. The meal was beautiful and the private room was very comfortable.I regularly recommend this place to people who want an authentic (not Western style) experience.

This chain Okinawan traditional Family restaurant is our favorite go to whenever we are craving for some local dish. Unlike Okinawa's famous taco rice which is clearly influenced by the American culture. This family restaurant offers noodle soups, stir-fried vegetable & meat served with Japanese rice, stir-fried rice, deep-fried pork chop with rice etc. and of course Japanese dumplings (gyoza).Okinawan cultural is largely influenced by both Chinese culture and Japanese culture, and you can tell it by simply eating here, it's the perfect blend of both. My favorite is their soba with ribs, which is a hot noodle soup with tender-cooked spare ribs, the meat was slow-cooked for so long that the cartilage is clear, eatable and almost melts in your mouth (ok, it's not that soft, but it's super tender). My other favorite is Okinawa's famous dish- Champuru, it basically is a stir-fried dish with vegetables tofu (or fu, depending on your choice) and Spam, the sauce mixture makes it a great fulfilling tasty meal with the perfectly cooked Japanese rice. If you are new on the island, do try their famous Goya (bitter squash) with Champuru, at least once while you are here ;) Over all it is a great Family restaurant where you can enjoy a nice Okinawan style home cooked meal with a great value!

A tropical country resort style cafe where you can forget about your daily life and enjoy healthy food made with domestic Japanese beef and fruits. The view of the sunset is so wonderful that you can forget the flow of time while sitting on a spacious sof
I had the pleasure of eating at this cafe for the first time today. It's now on the top of my list of places to eat in the Chatan/American village area. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were gracious and accommodating. The service was quick and issues with my order. I had one of the lunch specials plus the smoked salmon. For the price, the portions were generous. Planning to go back as soon as possible. Highly recommended for a pleasant brunch or lunch.

Good place to visit especially on a rainy day. The interior is your typical Okinawan house which contributed to the ambiance. The place is very clean and well maintained, both exterior and interior. There are several versions of Soba available, all are delicious. Service was fast. Plenty of parking available. A definite keeper.

We went here for dinner it was just ok to me. Everyone I talk to said it's great but for what I had and for the atmosphere I can only give this place an average at best.

Evening show starts at 1900 with doors open about two hours prior. ¥3700 for adult ¥1200 for children's cover charge. Their friendly staff will provide an English menu- FYI California rolls include raw tuna and other raw seafood. Menu items are decently priced, beverages are pricey, but the selection is wide.My daughter gave me a huge hug and thanked me for taking her to such a "special fun place"!

After reviewing the recommendations on TripAdvisor, i decided to go there with my significant other. The route was long and after we reached the place, we had our hopes high. We had prior tasted 3 restaurants selling sushi in Okinawa and they all tasted pretty good. But this was the worst sushi we had in our entire life, even worse than the packaged sushi in the supermarket. Scallops were tasteless and smelled fishy. Salmon is hard to disappoint but the chef managed to do so. Ebi was tasteless as well. We ordered a lot of sushi, thinking that it will be awesome, but we couldn't bear to even finish them. We felt so embarrassed to leave the place without finishing the food, but decided to do so anyway. However, before we wanted to leave to pay, one of the waiter ladies motioned us gave us a bag and plastic to take away the remaining sushi..we sucked it up and gave them the face to pack away the remaining sushi. We paid and left and threw away the sushi after we left the shop. I cannot understand why it has got a high recommendation from TripAdvisor. We hope more people can review and give them a wake up call. Felt that the ratings were totally off the charts. Even if I were paid to eat, I will say no. Please eat at your own discretion
