A decent place to grab lunch when visiting the bamboo groves at Shuzenji. Soba is their speciality and the portions are very decent, service is fast.
Found through TripAdvisor just in front of a parking and the beach. Food was really really delicious! In reality looked even better than on the pics. Excellent fish dishes for 1800 (one boiled with great sauce and one grilled) and tempura for 1300. Go there and taste for yourself.

I loved the sushi it was fresh and delicious the orders come with 2 pieces. So if you order 2 orders you get 4 pieces. It's kind of Kaiten sushi

Maizushi bento are sold at the Takeshi Ekiben cafe. The mackerel bento are great as are the hot chocolate and sweets! Just across from the station.

I must admit I'm not the biggest fan of soba noodles, but they did come with some delicious things here. The tempura and the duck broth were fabulous. In hindsight, I should have dropped my soba in the broth rather than the "cloudy water".Staff are super helpful given there is no English spoken but sign language goes a long way in explaining how to eat a dish. Ordering was easy since there is an English menu.
