We love the wide open restaurant with tatami and wooden tables. The udon was so delicious and the vegetables were sweet and fresh. First time for me to try the crispy crickets as side dish. They were surprisingly delicious!

Our friend who had done serious research on food places to visit in Japan, suggested this as a lunch stop enroute to Matsumoto. We had so much fun taking turns to feed each other with soumen which the restaurant recommend we dip into cups of sauce. The soumen is rather bland in taste, but it is meant to be eaten cold and with the specially prepared sauce, the taste is good and unique. We also ordered tempura and fish to supplement our meal. I highly recommend a stop here if you are in the vicinity. Definitely a fun exercise for both young and old to 'catch' the soumen travelling down a bamboo trough towards you.

One of the best soba places I've been to! If you are staying at the green hill hotel you can come here and its walking distance! Perfect soba place and make sure that you come early so that you still get to eat some soba! It is said that they run out of soba at 3pm!

My first attempt on unagi shioyaki and it is a memorable meal! Unagi is so fresh and melted in mouth! Staff is attentive however not able to converse in English Nice ambience & recommended for reservation
