Found this purely by chance when looking for something local to the hotel we were staying in 2 miles away. The online menu looked really good and my wife and I both love sushi, sashimi and all other forms of Japanese food, so thought we'd give it a go.When we arrived, I had reservations as the frontage of the restaurant is very small and resembles a kebab shop you might find near a nightclub. DO NOT LET THIS PUT YOU OFF.We went in and were asked if we had a reservation (which is absolutely essential) and were sat right in front of the chef. This proved to be a bonus as watching him prepare all of the food was pure theatre.We had a selection of various dishes off the a la carte menu, each of which was fantastic and then ordered a "Deluxe Kaisen-Don" which is a vast selection of sashimi on top of a bed of sushi rice in a dish, with a broth. I can thoroughly recommend this if you are a sashimi lover.

My husband and I have come here several times now as a couple and with friends. The service is always friendly and prompt and the food is DELICIOUS! It has a large menu offering sushi and hot Japaness food as well as a nod to Chinese and Korean dishes too. The sushi and takoyaki are the best I've had in Leeds and everything tastes fresh and lovely. Would definitely recommend!!

I've read one negative review just before I visited this restaurant. Actually I was a bit worried because it was my first time introducing korean dishes to my friends. But it turns out having dinner in this restaurant was the greatest choice for me!! As Korean, to be honest, the taste of foods here is much better than normal restaurants in Korea. There are lots of vegan/vegetarian menus that taste super nice. Not only vegan menu but foods that I and my company ordered tasted so good too. Korean barbecue in Yokohama was even nicer than Korea. The meat was really fresh and marinated very well. I really recommend trying Korean barbecue as well. It may seem quite complicated to make a barbecue for yourself but it's really easy and fun. Of course, I knew how to make Korean barbecue so it was not a problem at all for me but I just want to say that making your own barbecue is the point of korean barbecue! In front of Grilling meat, drinking soju with hot soup and chatting with your friends is what we call "true happiness!"It is the perfect combination I dare can say! I was so happy that I could the same thing in Leeds!Also, Staff was really friendly and kind even though the place was crowded. I was so proud after my company and I finish dinner and we were all so satisfied! I would definitely come here again!! Believe me, this is the best Korean restaurant ever!!!

Having been recommended to this restaurant, we thought weâd give it a try. we visited with our grown up daughter and her boyfriend. We are hooked! Really friendly service, absolutely superb food all prepared and cooked in front of your eyes. Fantastic atmosphere and plenty of laughs. We got on really well with the group sharing our table so it was a really great evening. Highly recommend the teriyaki duck! We will all be back!
