I was traveling to Hatillo with my daugther and two grandchildren, we stop at the mall and decided to try Mugs. What a pleasant surprise, ordered the mofongo y carne frita, chicken pad thai and the oriental burger. The mofongo was made to order excellent, the pad thai was delicious and my daugther loved her oriental burger. The service was great and they were very patient with my two toddler grandchildren. Will visit again soon.

I came all the way from Mayagüez to try this restaurant with a Gustazos coupon that included stuffed mofongos, sangria and dessert. The place is right at road number 2 in Hatillo in not a too attractive area. The dining room looks good. The restroom was clean. Service was OK.The mofongos were huge but the stuffing portion size: too small. It tasted good but too little churrasco in my wife's case, and too little the portion of squid on mine. The dessert was a coconut flan which was delicious and well presented. It was the highlight of our dining experience at this place. As to the sangria, since we don't drink alcohol, we skipped it but saw the glasses of other people and looked good and huge glasses. Overall, it was OK. If I'm in the Hatillo area I might stop to try other dishes. But I won't travel from Mayagüez just to eat here like I did today. I think that the stuffed mofongo is not their signature dish. Seems they are more into sushi which is not my thing. Anyways, it was nice trying the food here.
Caribbean Food Guide: 10 Puerto Rican food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Hatillo
This is a hole in the wall type of restaurant. It is located near the Amego Supermarket in La Ceiba Shopping Village in Hatillo. They definetly left me veey impressed by their cuisine. Everything we ordered was very tasty from soup appetizers to the main course. Must try the Wonton soup , if you are into very spicy try the sweet and sour soup. We tried the Lo Mein and they have 3 different flavors of it all amazing. Sushi rolls left us impresed. This place has nothing to envy from other sushi places in the San Juan area. Definetly recommend you try it.
