Love this place. You walk in, a little sensor goes off with, "irashiimase", meaning "welcome!" You walk up to the counter, and see pictures of most of the food. You gotta love that. You see exactly what you're gonna get and don't have to try to pronounce the words either. I mean that could be some of the fun about going to the restaurant, but it's not for everyone. Anyway, they have quite a selection and even have Imported Japanese drinks, like tea, sake, or beer. So once you order and get your food, it's the moment of truth. How does it taste? Oishikata dai yo! Or simply put, in English: it tasted great. They must have actual Japanese cooks or well trained ones back there. Either way, I'd recommend this place if you want some quick Japanese food that still retains its flavour. Give it a try.

So I have to say that Iâve had a lot of Poke over the years, in Hawaii and on the mainland, and these folks do a great job. (I also like 201 Kitchen here in Hanford). The fish portions are fair for the price, however the real value is the number of salad style toppings they offer, + great sauces and more top toppings over the sauces. For $12.95, you can get quite a good sushi style meal. Iâve seen people get non-fish bowls... but you have to ask yourself âWHYâ?! Haha. Everything is very fresh. The staff is very friendly and fast. The place is clean, and comfortable to stay and eat at a table.
This is one of the worst Japanese restaurant I have ever visited. I question whether their beef is authentic Japanese meat. It is expensive for such a restaurant compared to other Japanese restaurants in the are. The Yakiniku was expensive and I am not even sure it is authentic Japanese beef. I am not even sure the other ingredients that are supposedly authentic Japanese ingredients are really imported Japanese items. The atmosphere is okay, and so with the Sushi. I would rather go to other Japanese restaurants in the area or in Fresno than eat here.
The food is nothing to brag about. It's just OKAY! The sushi could be better but for its price, I can't complain. There are better places out there but double or triple the price. It's your choice. The combo plates are much better price wise and the chicekn teriyaki is not bad either.

I really love the fresh, made to order concept of Poki or Poke bowls. Iâve been visiting this local restauranteurs sushi restaurant in Lemoore for a couple of years now, and love that place too. Although the portion can be a bit smaller than I like, the quality and flavor is really good. I donât have a problem with the fish portion, itâs the toppings the staff is a bit stingy on. For $12.95, I want a meal. Or, maybe offer something like sushi rolls I can add on to the order to fill this big guy up? The staff is fast and friendly as well. The restaurant is brand spanking new, and clean as a whistle. Welcome to the neighborhood 201 Kitchen!
