I love Japanese food and wanted to try this since it opened. What a huge disappointment! First they were playing the most annoying electronic music when we got there--though they did change it to a light jazz when I asked. The miso soup was ok--not anything special. It would have been nice that the salads included other varieties besides head lettuce except it was old and wilted. I usually love ginger miso dressing--theirs was very bland--I could barely taste any ginger. My fish was fairly good--not over cooked but way too much breading. My husband's chicken was so over cooked it was dry and chewy( I wanted him to send it back but he doesn't like to do that). His tempura was soggy and greasy and again the dipping sauce was bland. And the bill was extremely high! We will not go back again. How I miss the old Yokohama with the quiet Japanese music playing and the perfectly cooked food...

I'm not sure, but I think the kitchen must be run by a Malaysian. The menu is wide-ranging, with sushi and Thai, along with some traditional Malaysian dishes. The Thai dishes were somewhat off the mark, in terms of authenticity. The sushi was interesting with some novel twists. Carry out was prompt and well packaged.

Without hesitation to celebrate magnificent milestones, we make reservations for Takaoka, a top notch treat. Fast service. An exotic restaurant with excellent tasting cuisine. Perfection to detail with just the right amount of ginger in optional dipping sauce. Melt in your mouth steak/meats (chef prepared) diced with shiny sharp holstered knives before your eyes. Dining area reverberates excitement at every angle with sizzling sounds, ooh's and ah's to flaming onion volcano's and sparklers in sherbet as the waitstaff claps to a Japanese recorded song. Smiles abound each time the recording comes on. Navigating festival parking lot traffic was our only inconvenience to patronize this upstairs of Don Halls restaurant. Takaoka ambiance included aquariums throughout and a tiny wooden bridge. Be sure to visit the art deco styled restrooms before dining and climbing the stairs past their "hands-up" Buddha statue for an enchanting experience.

Great service, great sushi, cozy atmosphereâwhat a wonderful meal! The waitstaff was efficient and businesslike, but took the time to recommend menu selections. Everything was delicious, perfectly prepared, and despite a huge lunchtime rush, we didnât feel the least bit hurried. Weâll definitely be back; our craving for good sushi isnât daunted by being in the Midwest. Itâs there, and Sakura proves it.

Naked Tchopstix is at the intersection of Highways 69 and 24. They are in the Southwest corner of this intersection behind the Hilton Garden. They have plenty of free parking adjacent to their entry. They are fully handicap accessible (wide doorways and no thresholds). They are a A pan-Asian restaurant (i.e. a variety of Asian cuisines), with a sushi bar, wet bar and lounge. Their menu is fairly extensive. Although a nice variety of freshly made sushi is available, they too have a wonderful selection of Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Southeast Asian cuisine. They have seating in their bar area (bar seating, high tops and booths), a main dining room (families) and private dining rooms for parties or business meetings. we sat at a high top in the bar. Four of us had a craving for Asian food and headed here, one of our go to restaurants. Two enjoyed sushi (Orange Sunshine roll, Seaweed Roll, Avocado Roll, & Salada roll), one had the Chicken Teriyaki Bento box and I had the General Tso's Tofu entree, I confess to having eaten at Naked Tchopstix a number of times. I have always had a selection from their many sushi choices, which is great. This time I tried General Tso's Tofu. This was also terribly good. I found it a nice light but filling & satisfying entree, with just the right amount of spice. I definitely want to have it again. The service was very good. Our waitress was attentive but not overly so. She was also very friendly and quick with drink and food orders. Our overall experience at Naked Tchopstix was perfect and we will be back.

This marvelous little gem at The Landing is a great spot for tasty and creative food. The surroundings inside are beautiful, albeit a bit noisy. The food was served quickly and presented beautifully. Our appetizers were definitely the stars of the evening (Pork Belly Buns and Crab Mandalay). I very much enjoyed my Salmon Japanese Style, and my wife's Thai Duck Panang was good, although spicier than expected. This is a fine choice for upscale Fort Wayne dining.

We went on a Friday with no reservation, we were told the wait was 20 minutes and it was about 15 minutes. Sat down and the server approached immediately, answered our questions politely and, seeing what we were asking questions about, recommended to me an item that was not offered on the menu but was a chef's favorite dinner. It was simply a spectacular suggestion and I can't wait to go again....a sashimi boat for one that was the best sushi I have ever eaten. Can't wait to go back!

We had an elaborate lunch with sushi and other grilled items cooked by a flamboyant hibachi chef at the tables in great style. The soups were non spicy. The taste and quantum of food were satisfactory. The children and adults everybody liked the place. The chef was specially attractive with his stylish table side cooking interlaced with hat tricks and juggling skills.
