This was a convenient restaurant for a quick meal but not worth going out of your way for. We shared the fried calamari appetizer and I had the shrimp tempura. Not sure if their frying oil was old or what, but had some stomach reaction after eating. The accompanying salad was skimpy. Service was prompt, almost rushed. The prices are reasonable.

Sushi Village Provides Appetizing Starters, Lunch Deals, Sushi and Sashimi to the Fishkill, NY Area.
The sushi is very fresh and the care of preparation is evident. If you choose the "All You Can Eat" option, remember to pace yourself. We have had many very relaxing meals here - take your time, enjoy some Saki and/or tea and savor the experience. If you are in a rush, or expect immediate gratification - either stay home, or go somewhere else. The Sushi Chef prepares each order as it comes in and the level of detail is impressive. Bottom line, the prices are reasonable, the food and service are good and the experience is worthwhile.
Sushiya has moved from the Shop Rite Plaza off Route 9 to Route 52 (Main Street) in Fishkill.Renamed Domo Sushi it is primarily a take out but does have several tabels for eating in.Just one word to describe our first visit.....OUTSTANDING!!!My wife, daughter and I shared the shumi (steamed dumplings), Beauty Roll, Rainbow Roll, and spicy tuna roll. Go to the restaurant's site domosushiroll.com for a full explanation of each roll. we ordered ours with brown rice (slight extra charge) but everything was fresh, tasty and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return. just one word of caution, parking along Main Street is not easy to find but plenty of parking just off Main (to the north).

We have eaten here several times. Nice atmosphere and the food is carefully prepared (so not "fast"). Their noodles and soups served in hot iron bowls are wonderful and you always get several kinds of Korean pickles--necessary for a Korean meal. This New Year's we decided to stay home so ordered take out from Toro. Not surprising, it was not ready when we got there at the time they told us, but it WAS freshly prepared. My partner, who has spent time in Japan, said the sushi was "OK." I would recommend the other dishes rather than the sushi.
