If you're looking for an affordable Japanese food, this is the place you want to be. The cafe and boarding house in one is frequented by college students. Its anime themed cafe speaks to a lot of anime lovers in the city. The food is simple and straightforward. Don't look for sushi or sashimi in this place, you won't find any. Noburi, the cafe owner, cooks food from their hometown. Satisfying rice meal prices ranges from 85-110 pesos. Order their Taco rice and brewed coffee. Take note this is a boarding house as well so don't expect a picturesque cafe. Just enjoy the homey relaxed ambiance offered by the congenial owners Diane and Noburi. Thank you for your review, it's heartwarming and sincere. We truly appreciate customers who noticed our cafe for its homey ambiance and the anime theme. We truly enjoy serving our customers who feels at home. Once again thank you. If you are in Facebook please let me know your name. We truly want to thank you in person because of such a sincere review. I am new to Trip Advisor thus don't know how to check names and such :)
Where to eat Bar food in Dumaguete City: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Ichiraku is a ramen restaurant operated by a Japanese owner in Dumaguete. Enjoy a genuine taste of Japanese ramen created by Japanese ramen professional!
From the day our beloved anime series, Naruto started, weâve seen enough of Ichiraku, but never tasted it. Being a fanatic, we all resort into eating instant ramen noodles (let's be honest) to feel as if we're in Konoha.Actually, there is a real-life Ichiraku in Dumaguete that serves authentic Ramen noodles at a decent price. Here's what I like about the ramen in Ichiraku Ramen Dumaguete:1. The Tonkotsu broth was HEAVEN! The broth was rich and creamy with a savory quality and just a bit of sweetness. It was "Wow" after you had your first taste;2. The noodles - authentic was soft and amazing. It doesn't have this weird aftertaste we often get from a lot of instant noodles. Its lightness compliments perfectly the broth;3. The char su pork belly has this melt-in-your-mouth kind of effect. It was delicate, tasty and seasoned just right.Overall, it was a good eat! Highly recommended place to eat authentic Japanese Ramen. Indeed, Ichiraku - Ramen is the Best Pleasure!

A small restaurant part of the Hayahay building where they have live music most nights. We went for 2 tacos - fish and chicken - and some monster nachos to share. Despite the Hayahay being busy, this restaurant was really quiet which is a shame as the food was great.
We are located at Food District Dumaguete. We make tropical sushi rolls, seafood tempura, and sashimi. Our sushi rolls are the cheapest in town, yet really yummy! Big and generous slices! Best part is we offer free delivery around the city! First ever sus
Great sushi at the convenience of Dumaguete food tripping! Definitely coming back to try more! What I like most is the atmosphere of food stalls but with the quality of gourmet sushi. Perfect for dates!
Located along the Dumaguete Boulevard, this authentic Japanese restaurant is perfect for anyone with an appetite. Every dish will give you a balance of exquisite taste prepared by the owner himself, Mr. Kim. Lined with the silhouettes of neighbouring isla
We had ramen. Ramen are homemade but overcooked and too thin (the flat ones). The broth doesnât really taste much, not enough salty... service is nice and the meat in the ramen is delicious. Iâd not go back..

I had a disappointing benrotbox with something that was supposed to be terriaki chicken but did not taste like it. Plus the chicken was not cut up into bite sized pieces the way it always has been every other place I have been. The apple pie ala mode was good except that it should never be served with chocolate syrup.
