We always enjoy everything we order here. The service is consistently excellent. The sushi is extremely fresh. They have a good variety of rolls as well as really good sashimi. They do have a cooked menu as well. And, they have fresh wasabi - you just have to ask! They have one roll - Fiji Maki - which is wrapped in cucumber instead of seaweed and rice. It is so crisp and fresh. I wish they had more like that!!

Here for dinner with colleagues -- looking for good sushi. They definitely had excellent sushi at very reasonable prices. Our server was very friendly but she didn't do much to offer explanations of their menus or selections. I get the feeling that most of the clientele here are regulars and know exactly what they want when they walk in the door. It certainly appeared that way from those dining around us.Aside from that it was terrific.

Saturday night to Tomo, our first time. Friendly and efficient service. We ordered sushi - really good, including the correct type of "sushi rice" important to its success. We got tuna, salmon, salmon roe, yellow tail, scallops, white tuna aka escolar, and shrimp. Also, fried oysters...also delicious. The miso soup could have been stronger, ditto ditto the green tea. (Perhaps both have been altered to appeal to the American palette.)Traditionally, "izakaya" or "Japanese tapas" means just that - small dishes designed as a light meal.Yes, we'll go back. Tomo is conveniently located near the huge H Mart Korean grocery store as well as the fabulous Spa World.

It's been a while since I've been here but the Japanese cuisine is still very, very good and extremely economical. My wife had the chicken teriyaki bento box (she loves it especially the wide variety of food featured. Me I had excellent shrimp and veggie tempura. All of the food, especially the tempura is made fresh for you. Still a great place where $30 will give two people a great lunch
