It's typical Japanese food place open 24 hours. I see many track drivers eating night time. You need to buy food coupon to order it.
On our way to Okayama, we went to Bizen to have a look of this town. We came to Hamashin to have our lunch which was said has different style of oysters cooking which later we discovered was not true. Anyway, this is a very popular restaurant. As recommended by the staff, we had a sumptuous meal of uniquely fried tempura of variety and sushi. My conclusion is this is another unforgettable restaurant to have a great meal.

This is a non descipt place next to the train station. The staff will be traumatized slightly when they realize you are a foreigner. But they have an English menu and wonderful oden, fried rice and ramen. Okonomiyaki seems to be a local favorite. The food was surprisingly good and prices even more amazing. Four adults and 1 child cost only Y4400 which included a Y800 beer.

It's very small Japanese pizza place. This whole town is famous because of oyster okonomiyaki. If foreigner it's difficult to go but there is only one way one road so if you ask people around you can reach. Food is good. Oyster is fresh.

You have to purchase seafood at the seafood market, situated at the opposite side of the road. Small shops are scattering inside the market, selling various kind of live seafood, including oysters, octopus, clams, sea cucumber, fishes and etc.We bought a box of fresh oysters and clams to the barbecue place. Rental charge for 90 minutes of the barbecue stove is ¥1,500, with free offer of the following: stainless steel barbecue tongs, hand gloves, charcoal, paper plates, plastic forks, soy bean sauce and etc.Set time is more than enough to grill at least 60 -70 oysters. Salty sea water remain in oysters is regarded as the best natural seasoning after grilling. The experience of doing it by yourself in this open environment is far better than in any restaurant.
