Been here a few times now, one thing that I am very upset about is the fact that they removed Siracha Chicken Wontons that was one of the reasons we loved this place. Our last visit was very mediocre but overall our experience is quite decent. For the first time we came for lunch rather than dinner and they seemed to be slightly shorter staffed than what we're used to. There was no busser in sight and our waters were empty for long periods of time. But food is always good just wish they would bring back siracha chicken wontons

Established in 1934, when a dozen local farmers parked their trucks on an open field (once a dairy farm) to sell fresh produce to local residents, the Market has remained true to its roots ever since. With nearly 100 dining, shopping and grocery opportuni
$50 for lunch for two and 2 non-alcoholic beverages? If you want to charge that much you better buy better tuna than the one that was served - and left uneaten.Service was friendly and the other types of fish were fresh. But we're not coming back.

How does a Japanese restaurant become so famous for serving nothing else but sushi and sashimi......super limited menus that to be frank were all the same and the beverage list was super average or as the waiter said âthe chef wants to keep it simpleâ.....thatâs for sure! No red wines or champagnes! For $120 for two it was a pretty average experience...

As so many have noted, the food is both exquisite in taste and presentation. Several of the courses ranked among the best I have ever had. We also were very fortunate in that our dinner partners procured our reservation on the first try! I felt that the sake pairings weren't worth the price. They did not seem to accent the dishes the way a good wine pairing can -- though to be fair, I am not all that familiar with sake so perhaps it is my lack of experience. I also felt that the sitting should either be about a half hour longer or two dishes shorter -- we felt a bit rushed at the end.But in the end, the ambiance, service, food and presentation far outweighed the minor complaints and the experience was very much worth it.

Katana is the essential hot spot in Los Angeles, Dubai, and Chicago. Katana is distinctively energetic, exclusive and stylish. We serve imaginative Japanese cuisine in a seductive setting, accented with elements like a live DJ and dramatic candlelight. In
Wow, Katana is a beautiful place and where the many beautiful people living and visiting in L.A. go in my humble opinion. The highlight is not the gorgeous waitresses, waiters, hostesses or guests....itâs the food. Listen, Iâm six foot plus and around 250 lbs, I wasnât expecting big heaping portions of food. What I did expect (and what I received) was top flight food, freshly prepared and served hot. That is was indeed, delicious and coupled with great cocktails. We unfortunately didnât get a chance to eat outside but the interior was gorgeous as well. Itâs pricey but due to the location and quality of food/service itâs a definite to do if you are in the area. A nice touch was the free dessert given to me and my wife from the management thanks to it being our anniversary. That was classy and on top of that the manager took time out to speak to us and that was the cherry on top. Our waitress Isabella was top notch and knowledgeable and knockout gorgeous! I want pre-authorized to make that statement from the wife !!!! Lol.

This fine dining restaurant is simply put, âvery LAâ and fits right into the West Hollywood vibe. The exterior and interior are exquisitely decorated in a cool and classy Oriental/Asian theme. The dining room is spacious but not massive, resulting in a feeling of privacy and comfort. I love their drink menu! Many great wines, a full bar and signature mixed drinks for sure, but also hard to find Asian beers and various brands of sake. They have some interesting appetizers including the shishito peppers, which are tasty and mild. The sushi is some of the freshest and best tasting Iâve had, with numerous creative options. For something different, try the crispy rice rolls. These are NOT your typical crunchy rolls, as they are much lighter and the rice does not overwhelm the sushi as with some crunchy rolls. They have many other great choices for those who are not in the mood for sushi. They provide impeccable and timely service throughout your dining experience. Enjoy Koi!

Nobu has remained in the top three sushi destinations in Southern California and this location is proof why they deserve to remain there! The service is A+++ with attentive, informed, outgoing and friendly servers. I would have to imagine that the service is aided by the fact the tab totals are normally so high, the serving staff is making some descent wages here. What ever the reason, its really nice to experience great service. The menu is quite varied for even the most fastidious diners. If you have any dietary restrictions everyone will ensure you have a quality experience without missing a beat. I've ordered so much here that I can't ever say I had a bad dish or meal. I always ask the servers for suggestions or popular favorites to help narrow things down a little. Be sure to make reservations and then in turn, stick with them so you don't upset the balance here.

World renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa's first restaurant opened in 1987 in sunny Beverly Hills. Matsuhisa Beverly Hills is the flagship restaurant to all Nobu and Matsuhisa restaurants worldwide.
Based on the fact that it was very difficult to get a table there, and it was so recommended by many people, we have assumed the quality was superb and had high expectations. Big mistake!!!The server was very nice and attentive but the quality was totally standard nothing special, I would even say below standard, the physical of the restaurant was poor and dirtyDefinitely not a place to recommend, there are tons of other places with lesser name but much higher qualityAvoid surprises
