Last night in Dubrovnik and we have been trying to find this restaurant all week, so glad we did. Food and service excellent, we had to wait for a free table. No trouble at all and this was at 8.30, beautiful setting outside, very friendly waitors, apologies for not having the time to come over and talk to us has they are busy. We had a lovely meal, I tried the traditional Dalmatian dish of beef steak dalmatian Swiss chard and sauce, beautiful, my wife had beef gnocchi excellent. Lovely place away from the busy old walls and town, highly recommended

One of our party described their risotto as the worst they had ever had. Another described their pizza in similar vein. Both were sloppy and seemed to contain the same frozen vegetables. The good points were the pleasant girl who served us and the football on the TV.

Italian cuisine with a Croatian Twist. Family Friendly beachside restaurant blending authentic local fresh foods hand selected by the chef. Nightly live music with breathtaking sunset views create a wonderfully romantic atmosphere.
We wanted somewhere calm and serene for our last night in Dubrovnik and we enjoyed dinner here on a mild evening with a beautiful sunset. This restaurant is on the fringe of the eating places in this area (which mostly seemed over-priced and, oddly, with very loud music). We sat outside and, fortunately, no smokers joined us! The pizza we shared (zuccini with shrimps) was delicious, as was my sparkling wine. Service was attentive and very friendly. Highly recommended.

It's probably a fair reflection that reviews for Restaurant Babilon were either very good or very bad. Suggesting that an average experience is to be expected. The service was excellent. Full marks to our waitress who managed changes in orders with a smile, recommended decent local wines, and even brought a complimentary desert platter when our group decided to stay on after dinner and relax over another sampling of wine! The food was not memorable. It wasn't bad, it simply left me feeling I could have cooked up the same meal at home. The biggest turn off for me was the sterile atmosphere. Located next to a busy road with no view to speak of, one would expect extra care taken in enhancing the ambiance. Yet the lighting was cold, no music livened the mood, and muted conversations all round made for a somber environment.Still, if you are just outside Dubrovnik and feel hunger pangs, it's not a bad place to visit. Simply not one to go on a romantic date or when feeling exuberant.

The most special about this little local family place is it's wood fired pizza oven and grill. Food is being made and served with plenty of love and patience. That's why our pizzas come out so tasty and perfectly shaped every single time, same works out f
Went to Vita Bella which has very friendly service and huge pizzas. Our party of 6 had 3 different pizzas and they were all pretty good. But nothing special. In high priced Dubrovnik its OK. The location is nothing special. At one point during our meal 10 scooters came and stopped right next to our tables so everything smelled of two stroke smoke. Great smell my son said. Cost was around 100 Kuna pr person including mineral water.

Take a culinary journey at La Pasta, a modern restaurant specializing in fresh and simple Italian cuisine. Experience the fresh pasta, freshly made pizza and salads all served against the backdrop of innovative décor in woody surroundings. An open kitchen
We stayed at Sun Gardens in July and had dinner at La Pasta on 3 nights. It was one of the few restaurants at the resort that was open before 7pm and with young kids, this suited us perfectly. The first night my husband had the prawn pasta and absolutely adored it so much that he straight away said he wanted to go back to eat it again. The kids shared a pizza which was massive but they loved it while I enjoyed the Italian Salad which was again delicious. The second visit we ate the same things all round but the third time we all changed with the kids having a half portion of bolognese which was done with pasta shapes to make it more manageable for them and I enjoyed a delicious gluten free arrabbiata while the hubby loved the carbonara - heâs a bit fussy about not liking overly rich sauces and this was absolutely perfect he claimed with each strand of pasta having a delicious coating of the flavour of the sauce rather than being drowned in it. During the third visit, the waiter brought out some colouring for the kids which was a nice touch but all staff were very pleasant. Would definitely recommend La Pasta for a laid back dinner with delicious Italian food to suit all. Menu was extensive and catered for all dietary requirements.

What a lovely little Bistro! Very friendly staff and fantastic food! One of my daughters had a calzone that she said was the best she ever had and my other daughter and my sister had pizzas which they also raves about. I had the grilled chicken which they very kindly agreed to substitute salad for the fried potatoes it usually comes with (usually in Europe itâs difficult to get substitutes when it comes to meals). The prices were very reasonable too. We were so full after our meals but we still found some room to share 2 chocolate soufflés.... Iâm so happy we did... it was divine!
