We stumbled upon this fine little restaurant after enjoying some "meat on a stick" further down the alley (also a great appetizer). They have seating for about 8 at the counter and a table for four on the ground floor, with more seating upstairs. We sat at the counter and ordered the daily combo. We enjoyed a salad and cheesy mashed potatoes while we watched the chef roll out and build our pizzas. After enjoying a glass of their homemade sangria, our pizzas arrived and we enjoyed as much as we could. Had too bring home almost an entire pizza, as they are about 12" pizzas. At lunch, two pizzas, two salads, a beer and a sangria cost us just under four thousand yen, but almost half of that was the beverages. Overall, worth the effort to find, not high class dining, but definitely is authentic and friendly.
I had the spaghetti carbonara that was ok. Two glasses of Italian wine was good. I had a nice side salad. Atmosphere was pleasant. The pizza the customer next to me order smelled and looked nice.

I liked the quiet, gracious décor and the feeling of openness. The ceiling-high windows line one entire side of the restaurant and overlook the city of Yokosuka. You will dine viewing one of Tokyo Bay's busiest harbors. The pasta dishes here can be ordered as "sets" adding salad, beverage, and breads. They have a wonderful lunch special that lasts until 5 pm. I got the linguini with lobster sauce with scallops and green asparagus. It was tasty, and both the salad and bread were VERY fresh. You serve yourself to the beverages and they have a nice variety of juices, teas, and coffee drinks. I had tiramisu for dessert and it was good but not great.

Come to the Miura peninsula (Miura Hanto) and the food options are limited: lots of maguro donburi (tuna rice bowl), for which the area is famous, and a handful of "family restaurants", and that's about it. A few years ago, Makoto Suzuki and his wife (and their young daughter!) opened up Miurase just off route 134 in the Nagai district of Yokosuka City (on the Sagami Bay side of the peninsula, just north of the Sukannagosso farmers' market) and they have been a great addition to the somewhat limited food scene. Suzuki-san, the owner-chef, built his own Neapolitan-style pizza oven in the kitchen, and is a terrific chef who uses a lot of local vegetables. The pizzas are delicious and extremely affordable (take-away is no problem), and the rest of the menu is excellent as well. If you're in the neighborhood, (or even if you're not), Miurase is well worth a visit.

Unexpected wonder on the SW Miura Peninsula. Incredible outdoor terrace over the water that looks out on Mt Fuji. Classic Southern California vibe that instantly transported us back to La Jolla right down to the Jack Johnson/Tristan Prettyman heavy soundtrack. Very nice food. Caprese Salad, Tomato Basil Pizza, Tuna and Steak all above average. Almost hesitant to hype this place up but perfect date spot. English speaking hostess for the phone so were able to make reservations for the terrace without trouble. Menu all Japanese so Google Translate was a must.

Came here with my sorority sisters for a going away luncheon. The view of the bay is amazing!!! It was pouring down raining when we went so we couldn't see Fuji. Inspire if that, the food was absolutely amazing!! The best time to go is lunch. Their lunch specials are pretty reasonable. The best one I think is the Blue Crab Pasta.

MARLOWE is located near the Sagami bay. We can see beautiful ocean, sunset, and Mt,Fuji!!! This view is soooo beautiful!!And, their food is good. MARLOWE use natural fish from the Sagami bay, and fresh vegetable from the croft in Miura, Kanagawa. So, their foods are very delicious! I recomenned "seafood salad". This is hearty meal! And, their pudding is VERY famous!!! In fact, this pudding get the NO.1 of the ranking,"popularity of Back-oder" from NIKKEI news paper. There are many kinds of pudding, so you can enjoy tasting a number of times!!
