We dined here as part of a womenâs weekend. The food was good, and the decor attractive. Hostess was friendly, but service was slow. Most detracting feature was the volume of the place. The restaurant is spacious with few tables, yet it was impossible to hear friendsâ conversations. Seating outside on the porch is recommended to avoid this problem.

We were a bit wary of the mixed reviews but thought we would be adventurous. We are so glad we did. We were seated almost immediately and greeted warmly. The room is small with small tables but the atmosphere is comfortable. I had the monkfish Marsala over the black linguini. Both were perfectly seasoned with the most delicate flavor. If you are afraid to try the black linguini, donât be! It is fresh and made at the restaurant and it will spoil you for others. My partner had penne with scallops and Alfredo sauce. He said it was the best he has ever eaten. Topped off dinner sharing a peach cobbler with vanilla salted caramel gelato. Great meal! Thank you.

A good lunch stop if your in the mood for something quick. Many varieties of pizza are offered as well as submarine sandwiches. My wife had a personal size tomato and cheese pizza; I had an Italian sub along with a locally brewed draft beer. The food was very good.The service was prompt and the staff was pleasant and efficient. Prices are very reasonable especially when compared to what you pay in downtown Woodstock.

Sometimes you just need to grab and go! Often times we are either on our way into or out of Woodstock proper and we just don't have time to stop and sit for something to eat. Amato's has individual pizzas, sandwiches, salads, wraps, as well as potato salad and pasta salad that is all quite good! Kids actually beg to grab an individual pizza from here for lunch MANY days.
