Italian Restaurant, Pizza
We were planning on eating at another restaurant in Windsor but it was very busy, so we decided to go to this place next door as a back up plan. The place is in a popular area of the town with free parking scattered in the area. The place has very little curb appeal and does not come across as a must restaurant. The menu is limited, which is often a good sign and the seating is basic cafeteria style. The service was very good and well informed of the menu. The food was average at best with little taste and the beer selection was 90% local brew which does nothing for me.The prices were fair and the portions were fair. All in all, it was an OK experience and I would eat there again.

We built Bent Ridge Winery and Cucina / Bent Nail Brewery as a destination that captured the mix of people, locations and events that shape our lives.â A small batch winery, brewery and Italian-inspired restaurant located in the picturesque Avon Valley, B
This is a very nice place for a relaxing meal on a lovely patio overlooking lush farmland and Ski Martock in the distance. Service is welcoming and friendly. The compact menu offers a good selection of salads, small plates, pastas and crispy, wood-fired pizzas, complemented by a selection of beers, locals wines (available in tasting sizes for first-timers) and a good cider.I had two fairly satisfying lunches recently; one with a friend and another with my wife. On the first visit, we shared a well-prepared, though overpriced, caprese salad and an interesting charcuterie board that made for a tasty but light lunch shared between two buddies. Light being the key word, since we came with healthy appetites and left wishing we had more.A few days later, I was back to try the pizza (in my case, sausage and mushroom) while my wife had a small plate of smoked salmon on toasted baguette slices. The good-sized pizza has a winning crust and a scattering of sausage slices and mushroom pieces on a thin layer of sauce. It was good, but a sprinkling of salt added what I thought was a needed punch. The smoked salmon, with a lemon and olive oil dressing for arugula, ricotta cheese and pickled red onion, was probably the best thing I sampled. But again, great for small appetites.I rated the restaurant four stars. That's a bit high, but TripAdvisor doesn't allow half-star increments and three stars would be unfair.

A sense of terroir ... We are a wine bar located at 43 Water Street in Windsor, Nova Scotia. We offer the broadest assortment of local, Nova Scotia wines of any wine bar in the province. We also have some old world favourites and otherwise well-known wine
I cannot believe that such an amazing place exists in Nova Scotia, let alone in Windsor! We dropped in on a Saturday evening and enjoyed live jazz and amazing food and wine. We shared the Charcuterie and Cheese board for $18 we received a generous board of 3 different cheeses and three different cured meats (one of each was made in house, the others made locally), and housemate condiments and bread. We also shared the daily extra special for $10 which was paper-poached salmon with a side of brown butter and sage house made gnocchi. Both amazing! The wine list is extensive, somewhere close to a hundred wines? Most available by the glass. The wine by the glass prices are very reasonable. The service was mazing too. We are definitely coming back!Thank you, VHalley! We take much care in the preparation and presentation of our food as well as the selection of wines, cocktails, beers, and ciders. Similarly, we try to provide an appealing atmosphere where one can easily enjoy food and drink surrounded by attractive local artists' works and very good music by a variety of excellent musicians on Saturday nights. We post our monthly programme on our website and FB page so please feel free consult it to see what we have planned. We do our best to keep things interesting. Our menu is dynamic and in tune with the seasons in order to offer the best we can with what is fresh and local. We are very happy you enjoyed your experience at our place! Please come back!
