I went with a group of about 15 friends. Normally I would expect slow service with that number but not here. Food was served quickly and I didn't hear anyone complain. One meal was slightly delayed but only a minute or 2.My meal, a pizza, had perhaps a bit too much garlic but I can live with that.Well worth a visit.

Totally unexpectedly came across this cafe walking the Newcastle Keelmans walk sitting in set of shops in the Business Park.Good italian classic paninis good coffee pizza and pasta at daytime lunch prices.Panini with provolone.spicy fennel salami,rocket and tomato in olive ciabatta...good flavours.Add to list of good Italians with mascalone and Francescas.

Visited for dinner with our teenage son. Arrived around 9pm. Very friendly welcome, traditional Italian restaurant environment and noticed Italian families - always a good sign! Ordered garlic bread and pane and olives to start - lovely and loads of it! We then had two pasta dishes and a calzone. Amazing quality and the calzone was huge! All washed down with wine, beer and water.I canât recommended Topolino enough. Fantastic service, amazing quality and portions, and great value! If you fancy something which is a touch more traditional than the modern chains, then look no further!

decided at the last minute to come to the restaurant with my wife and parents, i had never been before but my parents recommended it, they were not wrong, the service was 1st class and authenic Italian, the menu choice and specials board has plenty to pick from. i was staggered how cheap it was and an addded bonus was they keep a good pint of Bira Morretti.Grazi Milliano

Visited here on Thursday with my friend and Ryan couldnât have been any nicer too us! Friendly, good banter & a good laugh. The kids straws for 2 24 year olds was a great touch Defo be back as long as Ryan works here!

we visited family In Newcastle and returned to La Famiglia, this is simply the best restaurant ever, greeted by a nice man, didnt catch his name, had a ralph lauren shirt on, so pleasant and friendly, the food is sublime, pizzas are out of this world, pastas the same, the decor is great, nice atmosphere, and prices to suit all, totally recommend

A celebratory meal with family. An absolute disaster. The food was rancid and terribly overpriced. Off the specials menu the duck spring rolls were absolutely inedible. There is no point in complaining to the abrupt staff in a restaurant that stinks of fried food. We will never be dragged back unless itâs kicking and screaming

Some really excellent braised featherblade and some very well cooked vegetables served with a good rich gravy. If not typical Italian then evoking the spirit of real Italian generosity. Good polite if apologetic staff, but as we were in no great hurry we had plenty of time to enjoy both the food and the Company. A really good cost effective Sunday lunch option!

Really enjoyed our food at Ask Italian, Metro Centre, today. Gluten free food was excellent and safe. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. Danielle and Stefano were very helpful and attentive. Nice to actually meet an Italian working in an Italian restaurant. Looking forward to going back.
