Went to this restsurant because it was convenient for everyone. It was just a sort of unplanned casual get together. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food, selection and atmosphere. I thought I found a special little place. Unfortunately when I went back a few weeks later, the food was not as good and service this time was terrible. So..., consistency being one of the most important things that can make a restaurant successful, is just not there. I might give it one more try, but my expectations are not very high. I might be better of grabbing a sub from the Jersey Mike's.

Went to Attillio's last Thursday for a quick bit before a show. The food was very good. They were huge portions and piping hot. I had the chicken murphy, excellent, my hubby had chicken parm, very good. The other couple also had chicken dishes that were great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is a pizza joint with tables in the back. Very casual and very good.

The service and food quality, and temperature of restaurant. We were surprised. This is the third time we have partronized this establishment and thought the previous times is was good. To be specific: the restaurant was very cold. I asked the two very young wait staff to correct it. They both said it was controlled by the outside. What! It made for a very uncomfortable meal. BTW the two thermostats were in eyes view of our seats. My wife's chichen parm was like rubber, the sauce was tasteless. The pizza was very good. Did they change owners or chefs? Since 1944? May not last if they don't change.

We were 2 couples enjoying a quiet Friday evening dinner in this very lovely venue located in Monmouth Park. The decor is blue and it's beautiful. They have a bar and great wine list. Our waiter was professional and very helpful without being intrusive. There is outdoor seating as well on decking surrounding the inside room. They also have live music but not this evening. Our drinks were delicious and the bread was warmed and yummy with the 2 spreads along with it. I my husband and I had the duck breast special which was amazing. We shared a pear salad which was more than enough and delicious. Our friends had the sword fish and the Bronzino filet. We were all satisfied. The coffee was too strong for us but the ice cream sandwich hit the spot and satisfied our sweet tooth. We would definitely come back. Parking is adequate and handicapped ramp is available for those who need it.

âSomewhat rusticâ decor is only reason for 4 stars. Food is 6 star. Once you get past the dump like parking lot and sparse ambiance all else is superb. Pick your own steak and it will be prepared exactly as you order it. Tasty sides and great service. If you are a steak lover, TBB will not disappoint.

The service was fine. Our iceberg lettuce side salads were pretty much what I've grown to expect in neighborhood Italian restaurants in the Garden State. We ordered a couple of pasta dishes, and I don't know what happened, but neither of them had any flavor. The portions were huge and could have been shared. But why? We laughed it off though. It's pretty much what we've come to expect here.

What a lovely place! We attended a birthday party in the pretty room facing the ocean. The food was fantastic - every dish was delicious. The drinks were well made and the service was great. An absolutely wonderful experience.

I am a life long patron of this establishment who has been eating here at Nunzio's for 60 years and I visit it whenever I can. Recently I sat down with an old friend who really knows his food and we ordered a large plain pie. When it came, brought to us gleefully by Snookie (the original), we were mesmerized. Louie, her brother, crafted us a masterpiece of tomato pie goodness. The crispiness of the crust, the flavor of the sauce and the fact that your pie (your TOMATO pie) is not covered in cheese is what separates Nunzio's from any other pizzeria in the world. You are eating something incredibly delicious, unique and really genuine. I highly recommend Nunzio's for another reason: when you eat there you are treated like family. The food is served piping hot and does not leave the kitchen unless its right. I love the Chiafullo family, Snookie and Lou, who are two of the best people who serve some of the best food you will find. And remember to check out their other menu items prepared by Chef Fabio who can really whip up some incredible dishes you would not expect in a small, neighborhood place. Enjoy!

Tried this restaurant during Jersey Shore Restaurant Week and itâs definitely a winner. The food was exceptional and service was friendly. We will be returning in the very near future and bringing friends. I am attaching a picture of my shrimp and lobster francaise which was delicious and more lobster than I could eat.
