Genaro's pizza is yummy, but my favorite thing to order there is the chicken cheesesteak. This is a favorite place of my whole family. They have a variety of Italian food to choose from, sit down to eat or for take out.The owner is a real Buster, he likes to tease you once he gets to know you. He makes it fun to go there. This is definitely one of my favorite lunch stops, has been for years, and will continue going here for years to come.

Again I can't wrap my brain around why such good reviews? Asked to have my guest and self served at same time; (That didn't happen!). The Ceasar Salad was drowned in dressing without Parmesan cheese; (Told it was mixed in dressing). Forced my wife to use the toilet soon after arriving home. Philly-cheese sandwich had so little cheese had to really look hard to find it! The waitress paid no attention to us,(Made us feel out of place and not appreciated)! Never came back to table after delivering food, so after waiting 10 minutes or longer, I went up to the cash register to ask to speak with the manager. Found myself talking to the owner, whom said never had a complaint in his 20 years, (Later found this not to be true after seeing several complaint online!). He said he would make it right, but by the time I got back to my table my sandwich had disappeared, (waitress removed it from my table without asking me. (I sat there waiting for 10 minutes wondering if anything was going to happen? I finally got up to leave, when the waitress brought a paper bag with only a portion of the sandwich, (still don't know if anything was done to improve it)? I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. No one was sorry about a thing, I felt like somehow it was all my fault! I just left the sandwich on the counter and bolted out the door! I had enough and wanted to put this place behind me. I was tired of the owner's lies; (Trying to tell me he had never had a complaint in 20 years)! Come to find out he hasn't even been in business for 20 years)! These people haven't a clue! I feel sorry for all who think there is good food or service at Brother Bruno's!

Great atmosphere, good pizza. The staff seemed high. The waitress waa a total dingbat. Might have had mental challenges. But she was very polite, funny and cute. The "chef" was also strange and the bartender. If you can look past the strange, I recommend eating here.

I could eat a million items from this menu! Antipasto with GREAT cheeses, clams (10 cent specials), meats and dressing! Hand-tossed pizza (locals call "pitz" for $5.00 a pan); REAL cheese-steak hoagies with peppers, onions, mushrooms, scamutz cheese and RED SAUCE! Every home-made and ethnic food one might never get anyplace else. Also, they are on Facebook (some of their menu)! The server (Cheryl) was really GREAT! People eat there for the food, and Jersey Shore ladies have nothing on Ms Cheryl!
We met one of wife's cousins here for dinner and drinks. The dining area is softly lighted and has some tables located away from the bar. Wife and I had the chicken and shrimp scampi dish. The chicken and shrimp were flavored enough to provide some taste but lacked any spiciness. And the dish came with enough pasta to feed a family of four. All in all, we enjoyed the food and the prices are very reasonable. If we return to Hazleton we will visit Eli's again.

My family was hungry for lunch on a cold and cranky Sunday, and an authentic Italian restaurant located in a transformed home in a residential neighborhood sounded perfect. I ordered the Penne special while my husband ordered the lasagna. The food was average at best and under seasoned. The bread came out warm, but it was overdone and extremely hard. Given all that, the worst part of the experience was to find out that for each milk or soda refill our kids asked for, they were charged $2.50 for each glass...and....get ready for this....while salads were included in the cost of the meal, the salad dressing was not. That wasn't on the menu nor did our waitress, who was slow and unengaging, advise us of the upcharges for salad dressing or kid drink refills. We will not be returning for another $100 lunch.

It is an Italian restaurant. And it is pretty good. It has been around since the early 1980âs. âBootyâ died a few years back, but they still keep the âgravyâ flowing. We sampled quite a few things and everything, well, tasted Italian. Weâd come back, and for maybe not the standard reason..... Four bottles of wine on the wine list for $20 each. That does not happen very often.

A group of us went to have dinner. We wanted to treat our out of town company. The food I had was so spiced with a hot flavor that I could not eat it, and when I said something, the waitress took it back . She returned with what was supposed to be mild. Well it sure was not and I gave up. Then when the folks were ordering dessert, I ordered Creme Brulee. When it arrived, the top crust which should have been sweet, tasted only of SALT. Never again on a Sunday, and maybe never again!

We were in town knowing nothing about the area and wanted to try a local spot. This was recommended. We adored it. Local...everybody knew each other. Small and filled with stuff...totally overdecorated with all sorts of memorabilia on the walls. It was great. The food was good. A lot of dishes are with "scamutz". We had no idea what that was but our waitress spelled it for us, pronounced it correctly and told us what it was. Delicious. We'll go there next time we're in town if only to get the fries with vinegar and gravy. We were the only table in the place that hadn't ordered that. It was exceptionally busy but we were seated quickly and everybody was really pleasant.

Senape's has some of the best pizza in the world! Highly recommended! It appears to be a very clean establishment. The taste of the pizza is excellent! I heard that Boog Powell of the 1970s Baltimore Orioles used to make the drive here to get this pizza. I c an see why!
