Latini is a good choice for an Italian lunch downtown. three dining halls, different main dishes on the daily menue, and a wide variety of Italian food on the regular card. you will for sure find something. my dish from the daily was excellent, but also the mushroom Risotto was very good.Dear r0landbrunner,Thanks. Latini is open every day and is a great place for lunch or dinner. We are known for our pasta and risotto dishes which are prepared with only the freshest and best ingredients available to us. We also like to encourage kids to sample good Italian food so children under the age of 12 may eat from the à la carte for only CHF 15. DeliKaktus is great new Cafe that has only recently opened in Lorrach but deserves to be know for various reasons. - their statement is "mediterrean kitchen for all", which is exactly what they do - cook delicious healthy all VEGAN food from Israel, Italy and other countries. - it`s for ALL so it`s affordable and the prices are amazing, for a full lunch menu including a big portion, a side dish and a dessert you pay only 9 ⬠(big portion is 5â¬, small 4⬠and cakes 2.5â¬) - there is also coffee specialities and smoothies and other drinks available. - the owners are extremely friendly and love to talk about their passion, their recipes, their countries! - i will definitely going back very soon to try more of their delicious sweets and lunch options that change daily!

The trattoria amore is a classical Italian restaurant. Roman cuisine, home made pasta, white table cloth, great good looking service. We started with a small salad, had Spaghetti Vongole and Tiger Prawns with mediterranean vegetable. All prepared with lots of care and very tasteful. The wine per the glass (Montepulciano) was a wonderful recommendation. If we lived in Basel, then this would be our favourite Italian. Well done!

This restaurant serves authentic Italian pizza that is cooked out of the oven. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is good. I ordered a spicy calabressa pizza with mushrooms and olives. The only compliant that I had is that the pizza could have been cooked a little longer in the oven. But overall the pizza was fine. The staff was very friendly and they spoke Italian.

This was my second visit to The Kitchen as I was so impressed with the first one. The pizzas here are of superior quality and taste and this visit was no exception. I tried the Colosseo 15CHF (Pomodoro, Mozzarella, Aubergine, Zucchini, Cherry Tomaten, Oliven). This stuff is really mouthwatering good food! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the ingredients are fresh and after your pizza is removed from the oven the staff cuts and boxes your piping hot pizza to go. I always head over to the Rheinufer and enjoy the pizza surrounded by the great backdrop of the city architecture. An enjoyable visit every time. Highly recommended!Grazie mille. !

First of all, the food deserves a 3 star rating. However, the reason for me giving it a 1 star is that when I came to pay by card at the bar. The guy who had served me all night gave me the receipt but not my bank card. When I asked for it he tried to say he had given it to me. I had to insist that he hadn't, he then grudgingly gave it back to me and wasn't happy that I had caught him out. Therefore I would avoid paying by bank card as I believe he wanted the card to commit credit card fraud.Hello first of all, this review of what they have given is unfortunately not true what our staff would never do or they have us with another restaurant confused I'm there as a manager every day and in such a situation I can not remember Sry.

Fantastic food, great choice and an excellent service. My family had lunch here and while waiting fro everyone to arrive, the waiter made ome excellent suggestions for starters. The biggest problem was to actually make a choice as there were many things on the menu I would like to try out. In other words a good reason to come again.

Since my last visit to Pompeii the restaurant has had a face lift and a new menu, and the results are superb. The smaller menu focusses on pizza and pasta with fresh ingredients and has a daily 2 course menu for a very reasonable price. Today it was salmon mousse for starter and pasta with octopus for main, both were absolutely delicious and well presented. The pizzas have always been good at Pompeii but they have improved even further, and are perfectly cooked. staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive, all this adds up to a great dining experience.

Enthusiastic Italian staff! Hard to turn around because they are so excited and already ordering your sandwich before you can say anything. Not English speaking but know a bit. Few sandwich options which are good but not crazy. Family own, made by mama. Fun staff!

Decided to try the burger. Quite substantial. And conveniently they supply black plastic gloves so you can eat without getting into a total mess. 18 euro is on the pricey side for a burger. Service was a bit slow and inattentive. Bread came some minutes after the mains. About 20 mins walk from the last stop at the end of tram 8 from Basel.
