Pizzeria Piccola is located in the charming village of Wauwatosa and offers a truly authentic Italian pizzeria experience in a casual, comfortable setting. Pizzeria Piccola's thin-crust Neapolitan pizzas feature hand-made dough and the freshest Italian in
Stopped on a weekday night as a first visit. Parking availability is difficult as road construction is on the location's street. Once parked the service was quick and the Bolognese was actually pretty good while the pizza left much to be desired. They do have outdoor seating available in the summer but I experienced nothing on the food side to draw me back.

We had a couple of drinks at the bar and stuck around for pizza. What a smart move that was. The pizza was excellent and enjoyed by all in our group. Well worth a try. The service was excellent too.Thank you Lynn, for your review. We look forward to seeing you again, soon!

We had a great experience because of all the great recommendations from our server Tina! Our drinks were fantastic, I had the Stella Old fashioned-it was nice and sweet. Second I had the Fig cocktail-also delicious and less sweet. The scallop app was so full of flavor. The Burrata bruschetta has a hint of sweet and was great to share with a good of four. Everyone enjoyed their entrees: Waygu beef, lamb pasta, shrimp spaghetti and Mediterranean fish. No time for dessert, we had to get to the Celine Dion concert. Canât wait to go back!

We love coming here, we go several times a year. The pizza is great, nice and thin as far as the crust. The double-dipped garlic bread cannot be beat!!!the only down side is that I don't think they have the best wine list.

The atmosphere is slightly more upscale than its sister restaurant on 68th and Wells, with discreet service and heavier flatware. The food is well prepared, though sometimes a tad heavy on the butter. The portions are Milwaukee-style large, and friendliness prevails. Plus you never feel rushed when lingering over coffee and dessert. A good place to bring a Valentine's date!

A full-service restaurant with a well-stocked bar, Ruscello celebrates the bright, sunny flavors of Italy and the Mediterranean. Boldly composed dishes and a far-reaching wine selection make for a memorable night out.
Ruscello is a lovely place for that all-important relaxing lunch with friends. Despite the relatively small menu, the dishes are fresh and scrumptious. I particularly like the fresh ingredients used in the salads and dressings. Adding to your dining enjoyment are delicious beverages. The drink specials are always perfect for the season and well suited for the lunch specials. The only thing keeping this from five stars is the occasional slow service, which is less annoying when out for a relaxing meal!

The night started out promising. We were seated immediately. However after our order was taken service went downhill. Our food was delivered and we never saw our waitstaff again. There were two waitstaff assigned to our table. We did not have a large party. We were a party of two. No one ever came and asked us if we wanted water or if we wanted refill on our drinks. I went and complained to the management. I was told do we want a free dessert. No I donât want an old dessert that has been sitting back in the kitchen for days.Get your act together for service. It left a lot to be desired.

Visited for our sons birthday. Very accommodating on the phone to set up reservations, but that was it for friendly customer service. Food is quite good- was impressed with lasagna. Some dishes were a miss (seafood surprisingly was a big disappointment), but overall no complaints. Service? Odd mix of feeling rushed and ignored at the same time. The server assistant was far friendlier that our waiter who seemed impatient that we were a family celebrating a milestone. He was absent when we looked for him, and seemed in a hurry to get us ordering and to get our still populated plates away. Another disappointment was that even though we mentioned both on the phone and at the bistro that we had an 18th birthday, there wasnât a word nor anything even pseudo special. Most places (even high end) serve up a gratis dessert with a smile and a congratulations- nada here. The personal touch at such a neat little place with mostly wonderful dishes left a taste in our mouths that soured the otherwise tasty meals.

What a treat to find this family owned Italian restaurant on a snowbound visit to Milwaukee. Even though it was busy we were welcomed by a friendly hostess and seated almost immediately. Our waitress took very good care of us. We loved their baked french onion soup and the thin crust pizza was amazing.
