We stopped at Basal Pizza after visiting the Sullivan Brothers Museum. It is located downtown and only a few blocks. The pizza was delicious. It was homemade and so much better than the chain pizza places. It has different ingredients and yummy. I canât remember our favorite pizza but on the menu it had rosemary on the pizza. The place is quaint and the staff was efficient and friendly. If I am ever in Waterloo again, I will eat at here again.

This is a fantastic place to go with couples! Beautiful surrounding and affordable meals. Quality of food is spot on! I know lasagne may seem boring - but it is so good! Thereâs a regular meat one, vegetarian one and seafood one! Itâs hard to decide! Check it out, you wonât be disappointed!Thank you for the review and kind words - our family recipes are loved by many!

Horrible, pseudo italian food. with NO redeeming qualities. Chicken Parm ,previously frozen patty was a horror ... can't believe that anybody would enjoy eating let alone PAYING for this prefrozen offering. The salad was crisp with a non descript oil and vinegar dressing ... they have long eleminated unlimited soup and salad. I would much prefer Stouffers frozen Lasagna to their offering. The sauce was horrible even for the Mid-West . The prices were high for the horrendous food you're offered

Sean is an awesome manager and he treated our group great! We called in a last minute party of 30 and he was working alone. He called in a few workers and they had food out to our table in a matter of minutes. I was amazed and grateful. Would definitely come here again.
