Familiengeführte Trattoria, Klassiker italienischer Küche mit zusätzlich täglich wechselnder Karte, eröffnet im April 2012
I'm Italian but I made an exception this time and I tried an Italian restaurant abroad. The presence of Italians speacking Italian also in the kitchen is already a plus, till you order something and you realise everything is really Italian! I took a great pizza with burrata and a beer, a coffee (original Italian one!). The digestive was offered (soooo kind!) And I paid 15â¬: I cannot believe this place is pointed out by some as expensive! Menu in German and English. Say what you want but this was the only full place in town, while many other restaurants were almost empty, call for a table if you don't want to wait! Lovely

The 'Taverna Italiana' brings southern Italy to Bavaria, Wasserburg / Inn. The entree, mixed vegetable antipasti, brought our minds to Italy. The maincourses were excellent, pizza was great, the filet was even better. Slightly adapted to Bavaria: the 'contorni' were already included (but also lovely). The wine which accompanied this was good, excellent price - quality balance. If you are in the neighbourhood : worth a detour.

After trying three other restaurants, which were all full, we ended up at this restaurant... perhaps there was a reason why this one had places available...Food is the standard italian fare: pizza, pasta some meat/fish and salads. We ordered a pizza salami (salami charcoaled to death), spagheti bolognese and spaghetti tomate sauce (hard to distinguish the differences between the two), penne gorgonzola/spinach (fresh spianch was not bad!) and a salad (which was fresh and that was about it). Also ordered a glass of bardolino, which was luke warm and did not taste very well.Service is very friendly though, and the waitress does go out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Disadvantage is that only german EC cards are accepted. So if you are a foreigner, you have to carry cash. Fortunately it is not too expensive.

The restaurant service was very bad. it took 15 min to bring me a beer. MORE people had problems with the service. The pizza was good. I wait 15 minutes for the ticket and finally I talked with one gay for pay. I donât like leave without pay but next time Iâll leave for sure!! I donât recommend it to anyone. The beer was hot.The old waiter told me that it was all full, but two men, after me, asked for a table and he gave it to them...Today Iâve been in the other italian restaurant in the same city (the owner is the sister, same family). Was correct, like a good restaurant. If you want relax and you have a free time, this is your restaurant.
They have nice and delicious Italian food with good wine. The pasta was very good. There is a nice terrace in summer. They don't have a card machine so you have to pay cash, but there is an ATM on 70 meters.
