We are from PA and travel into NJ for dinner seldom, however when we do we try to get to Luigi's. Usually a busy place so we arrive early. They have entertainment behind the bar which is always very welcoming. Bartender, which is also the owner handles everything and everyone very well. The food is always good no matter what we order. Service is also good. We have only ever eaten at the bar so I cannot comment on the dining room. Dining room is very big and would probably be a nice place to accommodate a large reservation. Fireplace in the bar area is a nice touch also.

No matter when I have been there we are always greeted warmly by the manager/owner. The food is always good and the waitstaff is always happy to serve. It's a great local place with great food and a bar that always seems to have things going on. TVs are above the bar. Sports are always on while having a drink. Parking can get crowded in front but just swing around to the back and there is more parking. Everyday is 5$ steamed clams. Can't be beat There are pasta night specials. Pizza is very good. Casual night out with good food that won't break your wallet.

We came for dinner on a Wednesday night recently. First of all, service was fine - very friendly. Iâll get right to the food. The seafood stuffed clams and seafood stuffed mushrooms had very little actual seafood. They are pricey as well. The duck confit over Farro was terrible. I guess the folks in the kitchen forgot about it in the oven, because it came out like a incinerated piece of coal. There was no more than one forkful of food that was edible. It was clearly overdone and we were surprised that they even served it to us. On the other hand, my husbandâs shrimp and scallop dinner was terrific.

I just came back from Mama's extremely disappointed. We got two dishes, chose the dish from the specials popular items menu thinking that it will match my expectation. I had good Italian and bad Italian in life but I have never had such a cheap tasting meal as these dishes. Same was with appetizers. I tried to eat but I couldnât. I asked waitress to take it back because I am returning the dish. Chef(or owner), who was hosting a friend in front of our table came over and acted very concerned while i was looking at my receipt as I was signing and calculating tips. He never offered to take the price out when full and nearly untouched plates were returned. It was not my intention but it might have been a right thing to do. My dish was Pescatore described in menu as seafood with basil and tomato sauce. Well, there was no taste of fresh ingredient at all but overwhelming aroma of dried oregano sauce that you could get at Shop Rite. I have never complained at any restaurant and felt very uncomfortable to return dish but in this case me and my partner were siting and watching our plates that we could not even touch and looking at the cook who was hosting his friend in front of us made me to ask why did the menu offered basil for ingredient and we couldnât taste or see it and meal did not looked fresh. He said âthere is basil as wellâ. Whatever that might mean. I am writing this for those who are browsing for good Italian place in town and do not plan to waste time on disappointment.PSI was there about a year ago and food was different. Never will visit again. Italian food deserves better.Hi Maia, First, thank you for your honest review. I do remember your visit to our establishment, and I am sorry that you had a negative experience. I recall walking to your table, and speaking with you for several minutes about our food and preparation, offering to remake the dish more to your liking. We prepare all of our dishes to order, and utilize only fresh ingredients from local providers. If the cuisine was not to your liking, we would always do all we can to make sure our customers are happy. I hope that you will visit us again, as it truly is important for us to have our patrons engage with Mamas in a positive manner. We are a family owned and operated establishment and value our guests after every visit. I realize that you are upset at the moment, but I urge you to please contact me on the phone 908-852-2820 (ask for Tom or Sheri) or email me directly at [email protected] so that we can hopefully rectify your experience. We hope to hear from you soon. Very Best, Tom
I get delivery at least once a week. The food is excellent and service fast! They make their own bread - so subs are fantastic with a good amount of meat/filling. Garlic knots are to die for. I've also ordered things that are not on the menu, but altered a bit (like chicken cutlet instead of grilled on a caeser salad) and they don't hesitate to make what I want. Pizza of any kind is always perfect (love the meatballs and sausage) I've also had catering and everyone totally approved and enjoyed every bit of the meal. Love this place.

Ernie & Dom's Pizzeria offers pizza, appetizers, soups, salads, wraps, and italian dishes to customers in the Washington, NJ area.
Talk about a friendly restaurant, welcoming greeting upon entering and great food. My wife and I decided to have delivery last Friday night. Ordered a large stromboli, Ernie & Dom's salad plus cannoli. The stromboli and cannoli were great, but the salad...my god that was the first time I had a salad that delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and the Ernie and Dom's salad.

Referred by a friend, my husband and I went for lunch. The restaurant is "immaculate"!! Shiny and so clean! We decided to order some basic brunch-type sandwiches. They were NOT your typical sandwiches! My husband had an Egg salad with bacon and lettuce on thick bread. It was a big sandwich! I had a NJ favorite, Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheddar cheese on a roll. Again, the roll was large and soft and the contents were very filling! Best Taylor Ham sandwich I've ever had! We can't wait to come back for Breakfast and Dinner!!!! Excellent!

This establishment has weak management and poorly trained staff. Have frequented this business in the past and service has not improved. They give you a pick-up time and the food is never ready. Always takes twice the allotted time for pick-up. Counter staff is composed of teenagers with no training in customer service. When calling in an order there is so much background noise you cannot understand what they are saying. Food is adequate. Pricing is on the high side. Management needs to re-train the staff and improve customer service. There are many other local pizza place's that offer better service and quality food. Would not recommend.

Very tasty water ice and delicious Frozen Italian Custards. They offer all kinds of interesting "mixtures" and concoctions of water ices with custards and toppings, some blended in.

Had the grandkids over, ordered spaghetti and meatballs plus a large salad, very disappointed. The tomato sauce was thin and had no taste and the meatballs were tasteless and mushy. I expected flavorful and spicy tomato sauce and meatballs with a certain amount of herbs...very disappointing.
