Sandwiches and sides have been fresh and delicious at this a family run place for years. Any deli sandwich you pick is great. Our family favorite for years has been their fresh homemade tuna fish salad on a hard roll. Make sure to try their dill pickles with it! Parking is free.

This is an awesome family run place! It has everything from pizza, to prepared meals, frozen pasta, desserts, a grocery section, and drinks. You can get pizza by the slice or order whole pizzas. The pizzas are thin crust and they typically have cheese by the slice along with other types of pizza that vary. The have an area of hot foods to order that also change. We have had the penne ala vodka, chicken parm and eggplant parm. All excellent! Family meals to go serve 4 and come with the main dish (chicken parm, spaghetti/meatballs, raviolis, etc), salad and bread. This is a hidden gem in Wallingford!

We were traveling home from NYC to MA on a Sunday night, & showed up here not long before their closing time. They could not have been nicer & more welcoming!!! And to top it off, the pizza was FABULOUS!!! We were 2 couples & each couple got a pizza that was 1/2 & 1/2, so we got a real taste of their pizza menu. They also serve wine, so we ended up having a very tasty & pleasant end to a great weekend. We hope to stop here on all of our return trips home from NY!

After working on a kitchen renovation all morning and shopping for more supplies at Home Depot, my husband and I had an early dinner at Nardelli's grinder shop. We ordered the lobster bisque and split a chicken tomato and mozzarella sandwich on a hard roll. I also ordered a side salad which was plentiful and very tasty with olives and marinated mushrooms. Everything in the shop looks so appetizing and it is.The thing that I really like is how clean the shop is. Hats off to the staff!Walkinglwoman,We are thrilled to hear about your awesome experience with us. Congrats on the new kitchen! That's exciting! I've been going to Rosa's for decades. The quality is still very good and the variety is extensive. To accomodate the demand asnd as a sign of the times a lot of the standard subs are fresh but premade. I long for the days when you waited in line placed your order they made it for you on the spot. Not very practical in todays economy. Still good and I still go.

We've been coming here for a while and feel this is the best pizza in town. The dinners are subs are very good as well. I especially recommend the Rustica Pizza and their Ham and Tomato stuffed bread. You can sit in or take out - and love having some Foxen Park with my meal too :)

Met friends at Fratelli's and had a great meal. The service was very good. The wine was a reasonable price. I got the salmon with spinach and risotto with a lemon wine sauce. It was delicious and a very large portion plus you get a salad with it. The other portions were large as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant for an evening out.

I was here while attending a training class and stopped in solo for dinner. The decor is very nice and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely excellent. I had the Chicken Parmigiana, which was very tasty and filling. The accompanying salad and bread were great. They also had Sam Adams summer ale on tap, which was a nice surprise. I will definitely return when Iâm in the area again.

Michael's Trattoria has served the Wallingford community for the past 20 years. Cozy, great friendships, big flavor in a relaxed casual Italian Cuisine. Food is prepared by Michael in the spirit of his Italian roots. Our customer includes a huge amount of
When I headed to Michael's Trattoria, I asked myself whether we needed yet another Italian restaurant. This restaurant lives up to its name as a neighborhood trattoria with cozy space in three interconnected small rooms. I felt somewhat exiled in the bar area, so I recommend that you sit in the dining room. It's nothing fancy, but it's better than glancing at three televisions. As for the food, the lunch menu seems rooted in sandwiches, but there are a few "classic" dishes that are well prepared but basic. For the price, the classic dishes are incomplete. For example, a nicely prepared veal piccata (lots of capers and lemon taste) was priced at the high end considering that it came with a side of bland penne. A side of a green vegetable would have enhanced the dish as well as an offering of bread. Service was adequate. Lunch at Michael's is far better than what you'll find along the bleak and industrialized Route 5 nearby. More attention to detail would up the game.
