This Italian delicacies store has a small very intimate restaurant, osteria as they call it. It feels as being invited into an Italian home and having ancient family recipes being prepared for you, the guest of honor. Absolutely amazing authentic fresh Italian food. Just.. Go there!

The staff here were kind enough to let my husband and I order a late lunch about 15 minutes before their kitchen closed until dinner, and it was very tasty. My croque monsieur in particular was delicious, lots of cheese and a good bechamel toasted perfectly. Our server was able to recommend a good Dutch beer to my husband, who enjoyed his pizza flatbread and frites as well. A very nice place to stop for lunch!

We had dinner twice at La Passione. We were received like family even though we were a large group. Both times we ate great pasta, appetizers and wine. The delicious food and lovely staff don't quite make up for the very loud and extremely stuffy restaurant. Unfortunately the room is rather small so tables are close together which means people have to practically shout to be heard. The close proximity to the kitchen and other diners coupled with a lack of air conditioning means the restaurant is extremely warm and stuffy which ruined the experience. I would not go back as a result which is a pity as the food was to be recommended.

Quality of the food is good, although pizzas should not be garlic flavored by using garlic butter.The pizza calzone missed its prosciutto and the pizza paranoia tasted more like garlic butter than tartufe.Atmosphere is good, if it wasnât constantly disturbed by the pizza delivery boys walking in and out, even blocking the entrance.Restaurants need to decide what they are: home delivery or dine-in....

Good (but not great) Italian food in an uninspiring restaurant. Interior needs some TLC (certain parts near the kitchen and toilets even look a bit 'tired').However, this is more than compensated by the friendliness of Donati's young, inexperienced but attentive staff. Donati's other main asset is certainly its terrace - so let's hope for some Italian-style summer days!

A small place with a limited menu. However the quality and pricing are very good and in balance. Besides the menu, they have a choice of 5 chef specials. Also they have some vegatarian food. Unfortunately the (friendly, croatian) waiter did not speak dutch.Thank you for your kind review. As you very well know, The Hague if a very international city and becoming more international every day. As much as we would like all our staff to speak dutch, it is very difficult to only hire dutch speaking staff. Our friendly croatian waiter has been in the country for only a year, so we'd like to give him some more time to learn the language. I believe dutch nationals are extended the same courtesy when they move to a new country for work and they do not know the local language.

I was in this charming city at the beginning of June for work. I decided to return to this restaurant to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, certain that it was of a high standard.This time I was surprised to eat a dish so typical of Italian cuisine, prepared so masterfully abroad. âPorchettaâ made by the chef Stefano Bellini. It was like to be in the Roman castles. All accompanied by a very good Apulian red. The next day I returned a I spoiled a first course... potato dumpling, gnocchi, with bacon, guanciale, always entirely prepared daily by the chef.What to say? the food in this restaurant is superior, appetizers of salami with truffle directly from Umbria, wine ... mmh! but it is not all. The staff is very discreet, elegant but at the same time friendly. They make you feel like a special guest but pampered in your home. Thank for this to the Barbaraâs smile, Riccardoâs personality and Danieleâs sweet welcome.I recommend it not only to those who want to learn about Italian cuisine but also to those who, including Italians, want to live a superior experience

The quality of Pizza restaurants in The Hague is getting better and better these days. When eating lunch at Pazze e Pizze I realized that this place may have raised the bar again..... The (super clean) restaurant offers high quality pizza slices in many Roman variations. They look and taste delicious and they offer slices for vegatarians and vegans as well.I had a great lunch, eating one slice of Spice Tomato and one slice of Mozarella Bianco. Highly recommended!

Even though it looks like the owners are Spanish (please correct me if I am wrong) we had a great dinner. :) The waiters are very professional, cooks are outstanding! So yes, go for it!!! You will not regret it!
