We stopped in Dough Boys for a quick lunch, and it was a great first experience. Between the pizza, the pasta, and the cheese fries, everything we ate was delicious! Kid and adult approved. They had a really good selection for specialty pizzas and toppings, but we stuck with the classics: cheese and pepperoni. Service was decent, and the prices were too. The bathroom was a little icky, but we were thankful it was there after a long walk and hydrating with water. I would love to try Dough Boy's pizza another time, since we really enjoyed it!

We dined with friends from my wifeâs Ornish group on a Friday evening. We arrived early, at 5:00 to an almost empty restaurant. Our companions eat there frequently and know the chef, Chef Paul, quite well. My wife and Ron are both in the Onish program and Chef Paul adjusts the menu to satisfy their dietary needs. They both had a pasta veggie dish fixed with very little oil, one of the no noâs in the program. They also had a cup of minestrone soup. They enjoyed both of their meals. Ronâs wife, Marsha had the eggplant parmesan, her usual. I had the veal parmesan with green beans instead of pasta. (I sure did miss the pasta). The two pieces of veal were thin and tender, cut with a fork. I could have used a bit more melted cheese on top though. Marianna did a wonderful job serving us and we had an enjoyable dinner. Itâs great that the restaurant is flexible enough to accommodate different dietary needs.

This place is remote from the active locus of Virginia Beach but near the Military Aviation Museum, Sandbridge beaches, and the Southern reaches of Indian River Road.It has an ice cream counter with more than a dozen quality ice cream choices. That is unusual for a pizza restaurant. It has a surprising number of seating options and non-pizza menu options. It took many visits to notice that it's design was as a lighthouse presumably as an aide to an abandoned airport just behind this location.I like the cheap two-slice pizza option with a drink and add a single scoop of Rocky Road. Many like their garlic knots, but I'm not a lover of garlic.I've never been turned away but it always seems busy. It has its own parking. Did I say "the wait staff are great"?

Originally opened in 1952 it's home to magnificent Italian Cuisine and oceanfront panoramic Virginia Beach views. The Isle of Capri restaurant is almost as famous for its history as it is for mouthwatering Italian cuisine. Well-schooled in his family's de
We had a fabulous dinner for two...really four. My wife and were celebrating our 17-year anniversary and our son and girlfriend celebrated their 1-year relationship. We had separate tables, as far as we could, so we could enjoy the moment. Our serverâs name was âAazâ from Morocco, a wonderful gentleman. Our dinner was delicious, see photos below. I enjoyed the window view and the ambiance, I recommend trying their desert menu...all made right there fresh.

I made online reservations Sunday at 5:00pm because my daughters who are 12 and 15 had school next day.All Positives: Chad our waiter made excellent recommendations for all of us. He was very attentive and genuine in his interactions. The martinis ( Lavender Lemontini and and Spiced Pear)were exceptionally yummy. The atmosphere was fun/ upbeat to dine with family and friends... but it does get louder as the restaurant fills. We have been going here for the last 8 years and the food is ALWAYS exceptionally consistent and delicious every single time. The Birthday girl then got a complimentary Napoleon desert with a candle in it... Such divine sweetness!!! And for those that stated it was pricey... EVERYTHING was all worth it and you truly get what you pay for...Total Satisfaction which is why our family has been going for the last 8 years.

We loved very bite of our food here - definitely recommend the fried zucchini and mozzarella appetizer - and the service was polite, friendly, and professional, if a teeny bit slow. The biggest strike against this place is that it's basically a dark, leather-clad dinner club in the middle of a beach town, so it wasn't the ambiance we were looking for. That's the only reason I'm not giving it five stars.

Marina & Tony are exceptional people and servers. I went to the restaurant every day for my Ph.D residency at Regent University for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everyday, Tony served with a smile, and WHATEVER anyone at my table needed, he got without any hesitation. One day, while eating lunch at the restaurant, I lost a folder in which I'd kept all of the information obtained for Residency. Marina and Tony were extremely helpful in trying to help me find it. The hostess and others, not so much. Marina went out of her way to search, as did Tony. Tony even offered to help me look for it around the entire building. He went with me to make a report with the hotel staff and spoke so eloquently on my behalf, as I was even too flustered to speak at times. I eventually found the folder (someone picked it up from the table I was sitting and returned it to the Ph.D secretary) and went back to the restaurant to tell them I'd found the folder, but they weren't there when I returned, perhaps because they were searching other places for the folder. I asked someone else to tell them I'd found the folder because they were so kind, but I later found out that person never told them I'd found my folder. The folder was EXTREMELY important to me and they made it important to them as well. I hope God blesses them for what they did on my behalf. I'd return to the restaurant just because of them. The food also did not disappoint.CarlyHenton123, We are so glad you enjoyed all of your visits to our restaurant during your residency! I will make sure Tony, Marina and the entire team are aware of your positive comments. Sincerely,Melissa GeorgesDirector of Sales and Marketing

Aldoâs Ristorante began in 1988 with a dream of creating a family friendly Italian restaurant. It started with a wood-burning stove imported from Italy, a clean dining concept with simple pizzas, pastas and salads. One week after hosting a menu tasting, w
