Duffinettiâs will now be open Wednesday through Sunday evenings 4 pm to closing. Entertainment will be Friday and Saturday nights. See The Grid in the local Cape May County Herald newspaper!
We were recommended to stay and eat here and wait outside cause it was so busy and we did. This place has been around since 1947 and is an authentic Italian Restaurant from the meaning go. They are serious about their establishment and it has spanned 3 generations and still going strong. The service was outstanding !! From the free bread, to the generous portions of food and drink, we were not disappointed. Our server was very friendly and she was so sweet. The food portions were so bountiful that we had to take some food home in a doggie bag. Definitely go there if you are in Wildwood !!!Thank you Danny for your review. My parents taught me to treat customers like family, give them plenty of good home cooked food, good service in a friendly, warm, fun atmosphere and they will return. Looking forward to you returning.
Had a late dinner here and ordered the panini with procuitto. The meat tasted old and the bread was a sourdough roll. The accompaniment was french fries that were barely warm. The employees didn't see to really care about us one way or the other. The other people in my party liked their dinners so maybe we'll try it again and I'll order something different.Prices are reasonable and there is a casual sit down bistro on one side and a more formal restaurant on the other.

In the Spring of 1988 on the corner of Pacific and Spencer in Wildwood New Jersey, Letitia Negro opened a ten table restaurant known for "Home Cooking". The $9.95 three course price fix menu featured family favorites and "Made from the heart" cuisine. T
Tishaâs has always been a five star restaurant for my family and friends but our recent visit this past weekend left us very disappointed. We started with some excellent appetizers....their delicious fresh tasting calamari and an absolutely wonderful burrata salad with beets and heirloom tomatoes. So good that I will try and duplicate it at home. Entrees were definitely a problem. My wife got their special which was seafood pescatore . It was literally a huge plate of mussels in their shells. After picking the mussels out of the shells, there were literally just two shrimp and two scallops. I am not kidding you. For $32, this dish was appalling. My pork Marisa was not much better. It was described as a pork chop with apple brandy sauce and Gorgonzola crumbs. It was so devoid of flavor that I had to ask our waitress for more Gorgonzola. Luckily desserts helped end the night on a high note. Their flourless chocolate cake is one of the best weâve had and their key lime pie is the real authentic kind. Beyond the food though, our service was terrible; our waitress just disappeared. Plus it was so dark in the restaurant that every other table was using their flashlight app on the iPhone. I get that you want ambiance but turn the lights on. A disappointment for sure.

Here at Mario's Pizza and Italian Eatery we are a family run business. We are more than just a pizza place. We have a wide variety of pizza sold by the slice or the the whole pizza. We are known for are home made dough and sauce as well as our garlic knots.
Family-oriented and friendly pizzeria that has many, many offerings besides pizza. Friendly staff (owner, I think) took my order by phone, offering delivery (I didnât need it), then explaining my location and parking situation. The best part of Marioâs was the tasty Neapolitan Margherita pie and decent Caesar salad. Clean establishment, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Excellent Italian food, nice atmosphere, great service. I had a veal dish topped with shrimp, artichokes and sun dried tomatoes. The veal was so tender you could cut it with a fork. They give you a complimentary small antipasta plate which is really nice. BYOB keeps the price down. Highly recommend.

We stopped for lunch and decided to split a Steak Stomboli - $11.50. It took a bit of time but was so worth the wait! We got two plates with giant halves of perfectly baked crust filled with delicious meat and gooey cheese. Even though we weren't hungry when we started, neither wanted to leave a bit for later. I hadn't thought to order sauce, but the girl behind the counter suggested it and am I ever thankful because that put the finishing touch on a great meal! We made a pact to come back for these whenever we are in the area!

My husband and I randomly stumbled upon this delightful restaurant on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We were in town for the Escape the Cape triathlon, and looking for some place to eat. We stopped into this restaurant, because there weren't many options. Upon first glance, I wasn't sure about it. There were pizzas at the counter, like we have here in NYC. But we were seated at a table and given menus, which are very extensive. The staff were friendly and the service good. We ended up being super impressed with the food! We shared meatballs. jalapeno popper-like things, and baked ziti. This Italian food was reminiscent of the food we actually ate in Italy! The presentation was fabulous, the ingredients fresh, and the prices excellent! Seriously recommend for a great dining experience!
This little hole in the wall has a great 12 inch Italian Hoagie for $ 6:49 or six inch for $ 3:99. My hoagie had the proper proportion of meat / cheese/ and veggies. It was on a long roll, not too hard or soft, and no seeds baked unto the roll , thank god, expertly packed and nothing fell out as I ate. A great basic American / Italian style hoagie with domestic cold cuts of Ham, Capicola, salami, with lettuce, tomato, onion, seasonings of oil, vinegar and oregano. It is not a high end hoagie with fancy Italian meats, but a great hoagie at a bargain price. Any hoagie, any style, chicken or beef cheese steaks are available at the above prices. Maybe next week I will try a cheese steak and see how it compares to Gaiss' Market down the street, reigning champion. Cold Cuts are available from 1.99 to 5:99 a pound for more upscale meats. But do try the Hoagie, available with hot or sweet peppers.

We ordered at 940, they close at 11 on Fridays. No one answered at 1030 when we called to see where our food was. Chicken cheesteak was soggy and gross. Steak sandwich was ok... they had odd hours and apparently a staff that leaves before closing. Go too Romans instead. Better service and better food. Thank you for reviewing us! I apologize for the change in closing time on this Friday. We had an unforeseen circumstance arise. The owner who is also the only pizza maker, had to close thirty minutes early. From the wording on your review it seems you had ordered delivery. And I am happy to see the food was delivered. We are family owned and operated with only a few employees, this is not an excuse for the early closure, but we hope you can understand that in life, there are occurrences that we cannot control. We pride ourselves on consistency in our food and business operations. I hope you will try us again. We like to be as transparent as possible with our customers. Many know us very well, from years of producing consistently wonderful service and food.

My wife and I recently visited the Back Bay Bistro and happened to arrive during their early bird special time. We both were pretty hungry, but their selections for the early bird looked good, so we gave it a try. I enjoyed the crab cake, loaded with lump meat and little filler. This came with a big shared salad, garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. My wife had the flank steak and shrimp along with the mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Both meals were excellent. The dessert that came with the meals was a very nice bread pudding that we took home for later. No room for dessert : ) This is a very nice restaurant that we will keep on our list when visiting the Lower Township area.
