Pretty and comfortable Pizzeria and Restaurant, modern style, "Pako" offers more than sixty kind of pizzas made with high quality raw materials and a menu of traditional italian dishes with a selection of typical Aosta Valley courses. Don't miss the delic
Very full with locals - always a good sign. There is an extensive pizza menu, and a somewhat restricted menu otherwise. However, what we had was well prepared and presented, and tasty. The venison ravioli were particularly good, followed by straccetti with balsamic vinegar, grilled vegetables and French fries. Good choice of desserts - the chocolate cake with strawberries was huge! Nice bottle of local white wine, water and coffees. Good value for money as price was very reasonable for what we had (around 35 euros a head).

We had a great evening meal. At affordable prices, we had a full-course dinner including antipasti and a cocktail in the bar. We were sitting indoors, and could enjoy nice live music from the garden. Food was excellent, with a local twist.

We tasted the home brew beers, there is a good choice of beers and the price in not expensive. The nice lady that was there brought also some appetizer to drink with some food. There is also a collection of books on these places that you can read sipping your beer. Good stop point when you pass there.

Trattoria con atmosfera accogliente a conduzione famigliare, di calda semplicità per gustare i sapori tipici della cucina casalinga e del territorio. Si consiglia la prenotazione,
Stopped whilst cycling through the Aosta Valley. Fantastic coffee, utterly amazing homemade gelato of various flavours!! Great stop and we'll recommended!!

I was pre booked this restaurant while on a walking trip and had the misfortune to meet the manager of this establishment who clearly felt he was doing me a favour by allowing me after a lot of discussion to get my prepaid meal. A female staff member realised the booking had been made and tried to intervene but was completely brushed aside by this person in a display of male chauvinism I have never seen before. She was clearly unhappy with his performance but was clearly powerless to intervene. The meal itself was adequate to poor and the surroundings dingy and dated. If the meal had not been prepaid I would have walked out and the manager has clearly attended the Basil Faulty school of hotel/restaurant management but failed the charm test. I'm sure there are better places in verres to eat

Italy was experiencing a heatwave in early July and we decided to depart a day early and stop over in the mountains for the night, Somewhere close to the motorway that would take us through the Mont Blanc Tunnel to France and the UK, with a car that had to be parked safely as loaded with wine! (It took about 45 mins to get to the tunnel from Al Maniero).Having stayed there we would recommend it as a place to stay to break the journey in comfort. The restaurant is excellent, a bit pricey but good food and very popular with the locals on a week day evening. There is no need for air conditioning as a good breeze blows through the open window, The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. There is a lift up to the 2 floors. They advertise wifi but not really acceptable so did without, In Issogne there is a bank, a post office and an historic fortified house (Castle) that has guided tours in Italian, every half hour through out the day. We found it both charming and interesting.Note: In this area both French and Italian are spoken. Al Maniero translates as The Manor House. Dinner with wine, for 2 â¬109. Room and simple breakfast, with tax â¬81.50.We thought this would be an excellent stop over in cold weather too as the mountain food would be especially enjoyed at that time of year. . . .

The dining room is spacious and bright with large windows directly overlooking the lake. The pine panelling, the antique wooden beam ceiling and the finest decoration make the atmosphere warm and cosy. The restaurant is open to external guests and is famous
This wooden alpine atmosphere restaurant offers great meals at a reasonable price. The view is great overlooking a lake. Having taken for primi the taglioni with ragu di capriolo and for secondi the Carbonade, I can assure you this was worth to drive up there from St Vincent where we stayed (although this may be a scary drive night time for those not used to mountainous roads).
