This hotel and restaurant is just outside the center of Lecco. The food was really delicious. The menu's are really good. The round tables for 5-8 pax are marvelous to accommodate nice diners compared to long stretched tables.A separate room is available with a huge table for +-12pax.After diner, the rooms above provide luxe and quite. The next morning, the chef prepared us the best mushroom omelet ever (according to our daughters).

We went here in the evening on a Saturday for dinner. We were met by the owner, who while he didn't speak English explained the day's menu to us in German. The food was delicious, homemade and fresh. When we arrived we were served wine from their own vineyard, with an assortment of antipasti. The second course consisted of three different dishes, including a risotto, ravioli filled with pumpkin and a local dish from which I forgot the name. The third course included braised beef with mushrooms and ribs with potatoes. We would have loved to try dessert but it was already impossible to finish the main course. Apart from the great food the restaurant had a nice view of the lake and the city by night. Would definitely recommend going here if you're ever close.

Been there with wife and daughter, following reviews on TripAdvisor. I've been disappointed by the pizzas, in general. The Margherita with buffalo mozzarella was very good, the other type of pizzas, nothing to mention at all. The rum baba is really nice, the sfogliatelle not so nice. So, five stars for the baba and the Margherita, 1 star for everything else. I do not recommend it. Oh, by the way, price wise is a good quality price ratio.

On the top of the hill over Vercurago, sits this simple restaurant. Our friends say that it used to be only a simple inn, that offered little more than bread and salami, to the sanctuary pilgrims. It still stands in the middle of the woods; now the menu includes a choice of more than 20 items, mainly from the local tradition; but the price has remained low. The waiter was friendly. When we were not happy with a course, because it contained cream, then she immediately took it back, without charging for it. We ate a large portion of unusual gnocchetti with pesto (potato and chestnut dumplings), a good and creamy stracotto d'asino (donkey and carrot), an excellent crostata (cake with apple and cream). The tagliatelle (pasta) with ragu and the other cake, with grano saraceno were unimpressive; but overall, we ate a lot and were happy...

Great location, stunning view and organic and local food. This place is the right combination of location and local food for a perfect Sunday lunch with friends and family. You can reach it walking 10 minutes from Garlate or ask for a shuttle service that will drive you straight to the restaurant. You can buy local honey and jam, highly recommended !

This is the only restaurant within walking distance of the Rivabella Campeggio campsite. From the outside it is very uninteresting looking but the staff were friendly and the food turned out to be surprisingly tasty. Odd mixture of Chinese and Italian but hey, who am I to complain?

The location, setting, parking situation, restaurant and rooms couldn't be better. This place is full of charm, tradition and local pride. It's the kind of place we're always hoping to find. Excellent value for money. We recommend it highly and in fact have already made two additional reservations for later this year. Not to be missed.

I ate here a few weeks ago with my husband on a Sunday afternoon. We'd already been here with friends just over a year ago and we kept meaning to go back as we'd eaten very well. Unfortunately this time round we came away with another sensation which was one of sheer disappointment. I just fail to understand why they can't print the menu with prices so I can clearly understand what I'm paying for and if I think it's worth it based on the size of the portion, the ingredients and the skills required to make the dish. We spent almost 80 euros as we were given a small discount due to a misunderstanding and I left quite hungry to be honest. My first course was very nice but the portion was miserable especially since I paid such a considerable amount for it. My husband's starter and pasta were very good but again unjustifiable prices. Then my second course of seabass which was cooked in boiling pan with herbs and served with two sad potatoes tasted more like hospital food. I understand it's a healthy choice and that seemed to be their selling point but I was utterly shocked to find it this dish cost 25 euros when presented with the bill. A baby could have eaten more. I also love simple dishes but if you're asking similar prices then you have to dress up your plate better. It just looked like a sad offering. The couple who run the place are very friendly and the location is nice but I surely won't be coming back as I just feel that I spent a small fortune for a very average meal. We had a litre of water and a glass of wine and no dessert but were offered a little canoncino at the end which was nice but I just felt stung by the hefty price tag.
