The restaurant is situated above the supermarket at one end of Stary Smokovec. We visited 3 times during our week-long stay and were always impressed with the quality of food on offer. The restaurant itself is very functional and lacks atmosphere but we found the staff to be friendly enough, the service quick and efficient and the food was all very tasty and nicely presented; I highly recommend the tuna salad.

Among the better known restaurants in Poprad. Was there with family and friends. Tried their Halusky, a Slovak National Fish but found it a bit dissapointing. Their version of crepes was great. Went down well with Kofola, a version of Coke from the Communist times. Nice ambience with pleasant staff.

Good Value, home cooked meaty foods. The staff seem to really care, the restraunt is simple but pleasant and the food is delicious. The steaks were good quality and well cooked but it was the ribs that particularly impressed. The ribs had a delicious bbq rub which is uncommon in central Europe. To top it off they sell Bernard beer which is (in my opinion) the best large brewery in central Europe.

Although at first it was interesting, it was like being in someone's front room we did not stay after our first drink. We were going to eat but gave it a miss after experiencing some of the locals who were worst for wear !!!Don't let this put you off as I don't want to ruin this places reputation. The people we were with said it was good food normally.

I visit often for pasta or pizza. You can easily build some pizza of your own taste there. They serve their own pasta and offer couple of burgers also. The menu is not large, yet the food is always tasty. You can pick some good house wine with it and two or three types of beer.

We arrived at the restaurant because of a recommendation and yet we were surprised by the amazing quality. The service is just wonderful, kind and courteous. The food was really tasty. And the price is really not high. Highly recommend you will have a great experience on your trip.

Had one tomato soup and 2 pizzas and one pasta.Tomato soup was one of the worst I ever have.Absolutely no seasoning, salt. Even the soup was made from tomatoes and not from preserved stuff very bad.Pizzas were OK. Pasta should be farfalas but we got pene rigate.... so never ever ...Service was very slow.

With some hesitation about having pizza & pasta while in Slovakia we stopped here for dinner. It was the perfect choice: food was amazing and definitely homemade. Taking in account we didn't speak Slovakian,staff was patient and friendly and the owner inmediately came and helped us. There is a nice covered area for outside seating and you can enjoy a sunny day taking a real italian capuccino.
