I had the pleasure of dining at the Restaurant Menzhausen in early December with local colleagues and it was a very enjoyable experience. Uslar is a small town and this is probably the best restaurant in it. Its part of the hotel of the same name and it also does breakfast.The menu is a very traditional menu and has a lot of local meat dishes.I started with the Geräucherte Gänsebrust an herbstlichen Salaten mit Himbeer-Vinaigrette und Kartoffelplätzchen (Smoked goose breast on autumn salads with raspberry vinaigrette and potato cookies), which was very good. For the main course I had the Rehrückenfilet A, C, H im Tramezzinimantel, Brombeersauce, Gemüse, Mandelbällchen (Venison fillet in a tramezzini coat (italian white bread), blackberry sauce, vegetables, almond balls fillet of saddle of venison in blackberry sauce, vegetables, scoop of potatoes), which was also very tasty, meat cooked medium to rare and was well presented. I had the dessert of chocolate mousse - light and not overly sweet.There's a modest wine list and not surprisingly a lot of regional wines. We had a local red which was very acceptable.I'd recommend this restaurant for business and for friends and book in advance.

Tiene una buena mezcla de comida italiana y griega, por lo que hay variedad, y además acompañado de un toque alemán con buenas cervezas. Cantidades generosas.Buen servicio. Se esfuerzan por entenderse con el cliente aunque no se hable alemán. Precios justos para la calidad y cantidad que se sirve.

This place is simple, cheap and good. The pizza was excallent, crispy with a smoothie creamy topping. I ordered Diavola and the kids had variations on Margarita.Katrine ordered a green linguini dish which she ate up... Only posiive noises from her...At under 50 euros our best and least expensive night so far.
