Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Urubamba. Just its location—in the Sacred Valley of the Incas—makes Urubamba sound like a mystical, magical place. The snow covered Ch'iqun mountain stands proudly in the background of this Peruvian town that serves as a base for people who want to visit the famous ancient Incan ruins of Machu Picchu. Zip lines and horseback rides let you experience this valley in the Andes in wildly different ways.
Things to do in Urubamba
la pasta en este lugar de primera. ha sido agradable visitar este lugar, se nota que el cocinero era un experto y sabia lo que hace.
Rawa is one of my favorite places in Urubamba! Celeste makes food with love and her kitchen is sparkling clean. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Kid-friendly and family-oriented. A wonderful place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, late lunch, early dinner, or a quick pastry or smoothie on-the-go. I recommend the lasagne (either kind: Neopolitan or pesto), the falafel sandwich, the burger, and any of the fresh juices and smoothies! Delicious!ps - they have functional WiFi and clean restrooms :-)

Cafe Restaurant
In one of the few nice traditional houses still remaining in the center of Urubamba, "La Casa de la Abuela" offers that tranquil and artistically decorated place, where you can sit down in a beautiful inner courtyard, while listening to good music (what in Peru is a rarity), connect to an excellent wifi and enjoy a juice, an excellent French press coffee or a herbal infusion while eating something really original for Urubamba, Cusco or even Peru: Raw Cakes. BTW, I didn't know something sweet and delicious could also be very healthy.Raw cakes are not baked, are gluten free, and contain mostly seeds and fruits. The Salted Caramel cake, that uses local "lucuma" as a base ingredient is a delicacy. Mabel offers homemade ice creams that are really great and come in elderberry, coffee and lucuma flavors; what makes a great combination with the raw cakes.Casa de la Abuela also prepares wood oven pizzas that are carefully made & served and their homemade lasagnas are excellent. Even my partner, who doesn't like pizza normally she ate two slices telling: "This is great!"Dear Antonio. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us. I am so glad to hear that our staff made your stay enjoyable. You can follow us on our Facebook and Instagram pages to see our new dishes (New Cake Flavors). We hope to see you soon.

Vitocho It has a comfortable, friendly, welcoming atmosphere where offers guests dishes mainly of authentic Italian cuisine as well as dishes of French , American and Peruvian cuisine , the presentation of their dishes are well worked
First day in Urubamba and didn't realize that we needed reservations for Huacatay so we fortuitously walked in here. Now the poor chef was all alone but managed to put out 6 entirely different dishes that were fabulous. I realize that not everyone wants to eat pasta when in the Sacred Valley but good golly home made pasta is fabulous! Our table had and enjoyed the meat lasagne (w huacatay around the edges!), spinach and cheese ravioli with pesto sauce, noodles w pesto sauce (some might like it w a little more basil and garlic but did the job), fettuccini w aji de gallina sauce, hamburger (nice onions and good cheese), pollo a la plancha (very generous portion w fries, a fried egg, and veggies). Presentation was fabulous. Chicha morada was freshly made. Well worth the visit!

Our mountain biking guide lives in Urubamba and this was his top restaurant recommendation. He recommended the Wasi location on the main square - he thinks the pizza oven is better than the one at this address. (Strangely, neither Google nor Trip Advisor seem aware of the Pizza Wasi on the main square, but it really does exist). Cheap and cheerful - extremely limited wine selection offset by willingness to do halfsie-pizza toppings for sharing. Great value.

The best Peruvian, Italian and Mexican food in the hands of kitchen professionals. Our diners recommend our tasty variety.
The Nachos are very crispy, the source with it is excellent, best I have here in Peru so far, highly recommanded. And you can see the kitchen from the hall, actually, with good view of the plaza and the mountains if you sit at the table outside.Thank you for your visit. We will wait for you. Come back soon!
