Nice view, good quality meals and located in front of beach. 4 people had meals including pizza, pasta, steak. All meals tasty. Foods were likely fusion style food. They were warm and nicely presented. They offered us free fresh salads, mushroom soups and breads. Staffs were helpful and kind. The restaurant has beach front terrace tables. The weather was not warm enough when we visited so we had seat indoor but I will definitely sit in outdoor terrace my next visit. Dangol is situated next to Exordium on the ground floor and is a big gastro pub. Exordium is your landmark, and it's directly opppostie the Taehwa river bridge at Seongnam-dong. We had dinner here recently with our wonderful Korean friends and we was suprisingly pleased with our meal!Dangol has chains throughout Korea and the cuisine is a mix of Italian Western with a Korean twist to it, ie...flavoured for the local palate with spice, chilli and a sweet and tangy taste. There were 5 of us for dinner and we ordered dishes to share; that is how things are done at Dangol and this way we got to try a bit of everything, so this worked very well. We had the Dangol 627 Pork Rib steak (their specialty) which was a well done, saucy brown steak served with fried rice, stirfried veges, roasted sweet potato, salad, and a toasted panini-like bread; the seafood pasta (which was a sweet and spicy tomato linguini with mussles, prawns, squid in very geneous portions, a green salad and a panini bread); the Arugula Pizza which was topped with plenty of veges, spinach and cheese on a tomato base pizza, and my fav of all the dishes, the seafood chilli Tteokbokki - a Korean specialty rice cake with lots of spice and plenty of delicious seafood (prawns, mussels, squid) stirfried with a tomato chilli paste, salad, a boiled egg and a cheesy sauce! The portions were very generous and there was more than enough for us all! Each dish came with salad and bread which you could dip up the sauces with. There's a whole variety of steaks - hamburger steak, chicken steak; pastas - with different sauces; risotto, pizzas and plenty of side dishes including varieties of sauces with fried chicken. There's of course the usual beers, a big mix of cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails and interesting lemonades in different colours! Definitely a good trip for the family and kids included! Well worth a visit with great value! We will be back, especially for the Tteokbokki!
We make our fresh pasta every morning and if you want to have good quality of steaks, just taste our Prime Beef steak with low price wines. Chef can speak English so feel free make a call and reservations Thanks
Perfect dishes, starter as well the main course, in Italian styled atmosphere. Nice and delicious menu. Waiter speaks English very well and is very polite and attending. Italian beer Birra Moretti was served/available and had a good double espresso. Overall a complete diner.

This restaurant came highly recommended and the setup really is nice, so our expectations were high. Only upon arriving did we realize the chef is not Italian (Paolo is Paolo Kim), but we have been to good Italian restaurants run by foreigners before and found them to be quite good, so we thought this would be the case too. It wasn't.The dishes definitely do not cater to the taste of an Italian clientele. Everything is drowned in cheese, even the seafood risotto. Said risotto even had a clam that was completely full of sand; upon sending it back, a waitress (not the chef, as would have been customary back home) apologized, and we were charged for it anyway, some 18,000 won or so. The cannelloni were also way too full of bechamel and (slightly stale) ricotta cheese, and the pasta sheets were hard and cold. The pizza was ok considering the rest, but for such prices, there are much better alternatives in Ulsan. If you are Italian, this restaurant is NOT recommended.
