We stopped by this place because it was close to our beach apartment. We were looking for a nice place to have an aperitivo and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Very good mojitos with a beautiful sunset. We also decided to stay for dinner and we were pleasently surprised with the very delicious seafood menu. We ordered mussels, alici, and the spigola fish ...all very good. I would definately recommend this place!!!

we were here in the end of September and came across this restaurant... the food is amazing, we stayed at Torre San Giovanni 3 days and every day we went to dinner there. We had a verry tasty octopus in a local sauce, the first day I can say the best octopus I have ever tried. Then we had also shrimps and other see food which was also amazing.... but beside the food (which was great) the owner was really friendly, after dinner we stayed there for hours talking to him about different topics, and we even met his son, and became friends, the last day we stayed there till 1:30 after dinner... Mr. Orazio is really an nice, very funny and friendly person, go here for the good food and also to meet Orazio, he makes such an atmosphere in his restaurant that is hard to find elsewhere.

Abbiamo centrato sabato sera in questo locale. Abbiamo provato per la prima volta l'hamburger di bufalo ed è stato veramente ottimo, carne molto saporita. Peccato aver fatto solo un breve weekend altrimenti saremmo sicuramente tornati

We found it just because we saw it walking on the street. They placed my friends and me on a table with no plates, glasses and other things like forks,.. We asked for pizza and they told us to wait 30 minutes, so suggested us to get something as starters. So what? We asked and they told us. We have everything they answered. Results: a small french fries dish and another with corcquttes. Finally we had a pizza (brick oven) ..... not so good. 9⬠each. Not suggested.

Il locale e una struttura del 1700 suddivisa in due piani, piano terra sono delle volte a stella, di cui una raffigura la stella dei Cavalieri di Malta, dove si eserce il commercio di enoteca invece nella cantina con volte a botte ci sono le sale di risto

Although Italian, I write in English in behalf of not-Italian readers. This place is worthy: excellent meat, local handmade pasta (everything made by the mother of Nicola, the owner) and the wine is fantastic! What me and my wife had appreciated the most was Nicola's manners and kindness. We were just a little disappointed because there was no fish in the menu list, but, you have so many things to choose that it really doesn't matter. A complete dinner just 43 â¬, not bad, is it?

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare qui durante un breve soggiorno in Salento. Al momento della prenotazione ci hanno chiesto di scegliere l'orario tra due turni; abbiamo capito che è un modo per organizzare meglio il lavoro ed avere più tempo da dedicare ai singoli tavoli. Abbiamo ordinato due diversi taglieri di formaggi e salumi della zona, verdure e friselle, puccia salentina una buona bottiglia di Negramaro e alla fine 2 spumoni e un piatto misto di tolci tipici. Ad ogni portata ci è stata accompagnata dalla descrizione e provenienza dele varie pietanze. Tutto veramente ottimo. Personale gentile e attento. rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.

The Phonogram is an English styled pub, quite unusual in this part of the world. They always have good music (live or playing on the sound system) and the bar staff are really friendly.Excellent selection of beer, spirits and cocktails.
