We happened upon this gem by accident & the wonderful smells from the kitchen drew us in. We enjoyed a huge fresh salad recommended by Olga with goat cheese & honey, spinach & mushroom pizza, excellent wine, delicious desserts & specialty coffee. All for a reasonable price. Best of all was our service by Olga. She really made us feel welcome and helped with any translation questions. It was so good, we returned again with another excellent impression. Both times we were there, it was quite busy with locals, so reservations would be advised. We highly recommend It.

We ate lunch here on a beautiful sunny day in August 2012. There is an outdoor seating area where we sat, with lovely views over the marina. The food is fairly straight forward Italian fare of good quality. A touch expensive, but then you have to take the location into account. Overall I would recommend Al Capone.

A local restaurant at the quieter end of the beach near the tourism office, with friendly staff, good Rosado vino, and very good pizza. Salads are big and fresh too. Was slightly disappointed that the large prawn salad only has three large prawns but otherwise we haven't had anything not good.

Located near the beautiful city of Tarragona this place is worth the detour. Clearly off the beaten paths you will find a friendly and cosy little place where food is home made, service is perfect and the prices are more than reasonable. Menu available in English! Pizzas customizable. And the salad comes with the dressing on the side. In one word: perfect!

The pizzas in this restaurant are of good quality and very tasty, not fat at all. The pizzeria itself is not very cosy. If you are on holiday in Altafulla, you best order the pizzas 30 minutes before and eat them in your house or appartment.

This was recommended to us by locals and had a very fancy frontage overlooking the beach at Torredembarra. It's an Italian restaurant not a lighting showroom as one might suppose and has a very welcoming ambiance. I understand it is difficult to get a table in the summer but being mid October we had a nice table upstairs to enjoy the view.The menu has a large selection of different pastas and allows the combination of any with the sauce you prefer. For the children there were pizzas with very thin Italian style crusts and also very nice salads. Portion sizes were very good and the house white was a very well priced fruity local wine. Focaccia style breads to start drizzled in the infused olive oil were great and the children enjoyed an order of chocolate chip focaccia with rich chocolate sauce for afters. We patents couldn't manage a desert. The meal was rounded off in Italian style with complementary limoncellos. A bill of 80 Euros at end was good value even for us Brexit suffering Brits.

We came with 4 adults and our 1,5 year young son. It is a very simple and cozy place which you probably not choose and walk by. But, once you are in, you will be amazed about the food that comes out the kitchen and the hospitality and service. Great pizza, great pasta and good quality/quantity and prices!

We are regular visitors to this restaurant every summer. It never fails to live up to our expectations - offering a wide menu choice, great pizzas and delicious pasta dishes. It does get very, very busy in the summer (booking always advisable) and indoors it can be a bit noisy, so I would always recommend booking a terrace table.A word of advice - some of the portion sizes are huge, so consider either one course or sharing dishes with a friend or partner. Sangria is good, staff are friendly but always really busy so you might have to wait a few minutes here and there but,hey, you're probably on holiday and, anyway, it's worth the wait. Children always happy when we've taken them and there are lots of families and inter-generational groups and loads of space, so don't worry if you need to turn up with a double-buggy or a wheelchair. We love it here. Thoroughly recommended.

As a family of six we were made to feel very welcome, and the staff, including our waiter Alex, were attentive and friendly. Calimari, pizzas and risotto were all well presented and tasty. All in all a very enjoyable experience in a lovely spot by the sea. Would recommend!Thank you !!

Slightly surprised by the predominantly very good reviews here...The service was good and the place pleasant (if a little out of the way.)The burgers themselves were fine, but the "artisan bread" was about as industrialised in its manufacture as it is possible to find and was, moreover, dry and not very nice. I thought that the crisps served with the the burgers were a little low rent and there was no salad garnish, which would have improved the experience.
