We showed up unannunced about 8pm Saturday night, and they were just starting to wind down. They are open 5pm-close...not sure when that is, but those are the hours. At first it seemed that they might not be taking any more tables, but they quickly assured us we could have a seat and they would be happy to look after us. That was our lucky break. The service was fantastic..start to finish..and the food was just excellent. I had the chicken parm (special that night) and the wife had the Salmon (also a special that evening). The bread they give you to begin was great, but we added a bruschetta as well. Fantastic. The entrees came and they were just so darn good. We had a bottle of Meglomaniac Pinot Noir with dinner, and that was perfect. A truly pleasant experience. A+++++

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant was great...too bad the waitress (Nancy) I believe was incredibly rude

We are an outstanding Italian Restaurant featuring lots of pastas, wood fired pizzas and other Italian Favorites.
This is our first trip to Niagra. We drove up from Maryland with another couple. We just couldn't do another hamburger so we asked a local and we were told that Johnny Rocco's is the best upscale Italian in town and it did not disappoint! The red line will drop you right at the door. I started with a special frozen Peach Bellini, it was fantastic! We all ordered entrees that were so delicious, I'll be thinking about them for awhile. Our server, Melissa Mj D. was delightful, friendly, and funny and helped us with our dinner picks. The manager visited our table several times, he took time out of his busy restaurant to ask us where we were from and how we were enjoying our trip. Very nice. The pizza oven was directly across from us, a real wood oven, though our dishes were extraordinary, (assorted seafood pastas, spaghetti and meatballs) we did have pizza envy as the pies started coming out of the oven. I am sure you will be happy if you order the wood oven pizza. The decor is chic and casual, beautiful dark wood. So glad we got to enjoy this great spot, if we were staying longer we would definitely go back.

Order the nachos Italiano. What a huge delicious dish of Italian and nacho goodness. The olives, the cheese, the chicken and sauce were simply amazing. The dish I think is an appetizer but I made it a meal. Wife thoroughly enjoyed chicken marsala but wished they used asparagus instead of green beans. Service was great and if I'm back in St. Catherine looking for Italian I will stop by again.

This was an excellent choice for a good Italian dinner while visiting Niagara Falls. It was attractive both inside and out. We made our reservation for 5:30 to avoid the crowd and that was wise. We were seated and served promptly. The chicken Parmigiana was excellent. The bread was not Italian but it was warm and crunchy. We would definitely choose Carpaccio's again.
This private club, just recently started doing dinners on Friday night. Reservations a must. Small intimate atmosphere. $30 a person. 6 course menu, which is set. I believe you can add a few choices in there. They also rotate the menu, I believe between, chicken and steak. Starts with a bread, and delightful dipping sauce. Then came an amazing antipasto plate. Olives, cantaloupe, artichoke, prosciutto, artichoke. Just amazing. Next came an Italian soup, made from egg, very light and tasty. Then came pasta, with tomato sauce and fresh basil. The entree that night was a strip-loin steak, with mushrooms, and smashed potatoes. Delicious. This was followed by the best tiramisu I have ever had, and coffee, tea included. This is an amazing deal, and the service was non-stop. They serve wines, and other beverages, averaging 45-6 a glass. this is a gem, and can't wait to go back again. Out in Port Robinson, just off the 406, worth trying.

The food is very good. We shared a super-sized house salad and the Portabello Asiago; I had the Pollo Figaro, and my wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana. It was all very tasty. On the downside: the space is a rather gloomy barn, and the live music, mostly rock, that began around 8:30 was enough to drive us out of the restaurant before dessert.

I was really looking forward to trying Tonys after reading the reviews and knowing they had previously won a pretty prestigious competition... I called for a pickup of a 12 Slice Pizza dr. They said it would take 30 minutes... Thought that was a little strange but figured maybe they were busy ( my regular go to usually takes just 15 minutes but I guess I am spoiled). Arrive to pick it up 35 minutes later and was told that it would be another 7 or 8 minutes. That turned into 20 more minutes. All in all almost an hour for a 12 Slice Pizza. Figured I shouldn't complain if it was good but unfortunately it was not. It was far too saucy, the crust tasted like it was something out of a freezer pizza you would find at the grocery store. Truly disappointed and truly overrated. used to be disappointed I couldn't get a slice for lunch because of the hours but now I know there are better choices. guess I'll try vinces .

Staying with friends at the local Inn on Lock Seven, we wanted to grab take-out pizza for dinner and spend our evening watching ships pass through the locks from our hotel balconies. Papa Vinceâs had a high rating and it was easy to find downtown. Papa Vinceâs is take-out or delivery only. The space when you step inside is tiny, with room for about 3 people to stand side by side at the counter. My friend and I each ordered a small pizza and wings. I was surprised that they didnât offer salad. This is the 21st century, guys. You need a side salad on the menu. But tonight, dinner would be veggie-free. We left and returned 15 minutes later to give other customers a chance to get inside the tiny space. When we picked up our order, I asked for paper plates. The guy said âYeah, I think we have some.â He thinks? Not everyone ordering pizza eats it at home. If you are delivering to hotel guests you should be delivering paper plates, napkins and plastic utensils too. He gave me plates.Papa Vinceâs pizza sauce was a little bit yummy spicy. Plenty of cheese without having to order âextra.â Crust was nice. Not too thick. Not too thin. Wings were also very good. Better than most. Having tried independent pizza shops nearly everywhere weâve traveled I can say Papa Vinceâs deserves a thumbs up!

My family and I visited Johnny Roccos for a late lunch and our experience was just phenomenal. The food was great, the atmosphere is super friendly, and the staff are fun always smiling. We'd like to thank our server Josh for being a notable example of what true customer service is. He was so personable, professional, yet remained very relatable (never not once did he stop smiling). Our son is severely celiac and Josh knew exactly what options to modify to the detail. We would highly recommend Johnny Rocco's as the bar was set very high in our experience. You will definitely see us again!
