We ordered a pizza from here and though it is not the cheapest pizza around, it was worth every penny. It came piping hot and had a generous amount of toppings, which were all of a good quality. We will definitely go back.

Great food plus great service makes La Caverna the first choice if Italian is what you're after. Probably best to book at weekends. Good selection of wines also. Atmosphere is usually refined (i.e. not loud and brash like some local alternatives) and a great evening to be had by all.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had the misfortune to encounter! Firstly, the noise levels are extreme to an extent we couldnât hear each other speaking. The bar staff were constantly throwing empty bottles into a bin and the noise of them clattering made you jump every time they did it. The chef was constantly throwing plates around and sound reverberated around the restaurant. Just no need for it at all. The background music was so loud and the thumping beat of it overwhelmed the whole building. There were so many noisy uncontrollable children in the place it was a joke. The noise was unbearable!!! The service was poor beyond belief. Waited nearly 30 mins for drink order to arrive. We should have left at this point!!! After mains had been cleared waitress bought dessert menu and returned 45 mins later. At this point we just wanted out of this place as we couldnât cope with anymore. £80 for 4 mains and 4 drinks!!! Complete and utter rip off!!! Never ever again will I, or the people in our group cross the threshold of this joke of a restaurant again. If you want to keep your sanity avoid at all costs. A highly stressful and upsetting evening. Iâm so annoyed and embarrassed for the guests I invited.
